Answering and Declining Calls using Voice Control

I don't believe this feature exists, but sure would be really awesome to have.

I am usually connected to my Bluetooth TWS and can answer and reject calls by doing a tapping gesture on any of the L/R ear buds. However, many times instead of declining the call I end up answering it. So I have to sit through the call although it was not a good time to indulge in conversation. What if? we could use Voice Control to answer/ decline calls?

A voice command like: Answer Call OR Decline Call would have really done the trick. If you have any other such clever and innovative ideas around this OR on how to achieve this without Voice Control please share.

P.S. This would be so handy for someone who has their hand amputated, not sure if you can answer or decline calls using Siri

Say, "Hey Siri, answer that". To have Siri answer the phone call for you. If you are wearing a headset, the audio should go directly to that. Alternatively…
Say, "Hey Siri, answer that on speaker". This will Have Siri answer your call on speakerphone, something I do a lot with my friends.

Unfortunately I have never tried this with declining a call, so feel free to try it, replacing the word answer, with the word decline, in my examples above.

If you have airpods pro 2, you can answer calls by nodding your head, supposedly. I say supposedly as I haven't gotten this to work with voiceover yet, though it was supposedly fixed.

Thank you for the suggestions, answering and decline with Siri will experiment. It should work if you said so. AirPods, I read about this feature but not ready to invest in them yet. I hear that they offer the ultimate music experience

You can also have Siri hang up your call as well, whether a normal phone call, or a phone call on speakerphone. I do believe you have to go into Siri settings and check a box, either regular settings, or Siri accessibility settings. Either way, once that box is checked, you can do this.
It is especially handy, when you are talking on speakerphone to somebody, while doing something messy, like prepping food for example.
Say, "Hey Siri, hang up", to end your call. Note you will not necessarily get any kind of feedback, other than the call simply ending.

HTH.

I will try this out. I am aware that we can hang up calls using Siri, however, my need is to decline the call, not end. Thank you very much 🤗
