Age Verification has been a problem for me in the UK. My iPhone is linked to my Debit Card. I do not wish to have a Credit Card. I am a Blind person and do not hold a Driving Licence, much to the relief to all!!
I cannot find a way in the UK to have Age Verification accepted. Of course, I can bypass this. But this makes me be treated as under 18.
Any advice and help appreciated.
Thanks

It's on the way everywhere
We might not like it, but the age verification thing is by and large very popular; and it's coming everywhere. Forasmuch as I've said elsewhere that the legislative mechanism Parliament chose was very clunky, to say the least, it's almost certainly a policy I would have pursued myself. In short, the law is not going to change. the only thing that can now change is Apple's policy with respect to passports.
UK Passports Update
UK passports are now accepted as of last night having just verified my age with one.
Now Officially Documented in Apple Support Article
Apple's Support article, "Region-specific rules for managing an Apple Account," has been updated to reflect that passports are now accepted for age verification in the UK:
soft powe
It's great to see that apple has done this. I think they were badly advised initially and I'm glad they have listened.
