Hello.
I wonder, is there a way to add a website to the dock? I have managed to put it on my home screen a coupld of times. But I donβt remember how I did it. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.
Hi, you just have to open the page on Safari, then click on the "Share" button, then in the share sheet, select the option "Add to Home Screen". In the next window, you can edit what you want it to be called, then when your done, select the "Add" button and it will appear as a icon on your home screen. Then just do what you would normally do to move an app, but instead, move the bookmark to the dock and there you have it.
Hi. You'd do it the same way you'd move apps around.
Put the webpage on your home screen, then go to that icon, make sure your rotor is turned to actions, flick down until you hear edit mode, then double tap. Once you get to that point, put your finger on the webpage spot, flick down until you hear move/drag name of webpage and double tap. After that, go to the app before the spot where you'd like it to be put your finger on that, and flick down until you hear if you'd like to put it before or after, double tap on whatever you decide, push the home button and you are done! Webpages are like apps once you put then on your home screen. You delete them from your screen the same way you'd delete an app too. Hope this helps. Good luck!
Hi. If you were trying to put the page in your dock from the web, just go to the webpage, click on the share button, and then click on the option that says add to desktop. I assummed from your post you already had the webpage on your screen and was moving it there. For that, I sincerely appologize. Hope this also helps. Wishing you the very best of luck!
Okay, now I have the applevis website in a folder in dock called links and am going to put more websites there. For example my virtual pet websites. This is so cool.
