Activating Links in Messages

Hi. I am trying to approve a notification I got from Amazon. It's in Messages. VoiceOver says a web address and then it says "link" but I'm not able to activate it with a double-tap. Any suggestions? I tried forwarding the message to my email address, but haven't got my email message. Thanks.

You want to twist your fingers like a dial, until it says links. Swipe down once, ro you should get the A,azon.com link, try double tapping then. If links isn't in your list of things, then you've got to get it and put in in the roter settings.

Sadly that does not work well. I find it to be inconsistent. Hope you have better luck that I do. Using iOS 15.5 and 12 pro.

I've done a ton of things since no home button, so I'm wondering if your finger, either of you, slips when you try to activate the roter. It's not the easiest gesture. Not blaming anyone but as I've told you, I can mess things up. anyway I think that's the only way. Or, maybe swipe down word by word, again changing the setting until you hear http:// and now you know you are on the link. Try double taping there.

I set my rotor to be double finger sliding right. It has nothing to do with finger. Is not consistent. It could be a bug. Apple iOS has more bugs than a NY hotel.

I had the same problem today with Amazon. I can't approve the authorization with my phone because I cannot activate that link in messages. Links is in the rotor. I moved to the link using the rotor actions. And I cannot get it to work. I've tried many times.
