Accessing links on Twitter

Hi all:

IOS 13.1.2 isn't too bad for me, but I'm disappointed that I can't access links on Twitter again.
When I click on a tweet, VO reads the entire tweet, and there's no way to select a link.

I called Apple Accessability, when I had this issue in documents, but they didn'! have a fix.

Anyone got ideas?

Thanks,
Louise

The issue is probably with the Twitter app itself, and Apple is not responsible for that. A workaround is to open the tweet in Safari. You should also report the issue to Twitter.

Thanks, you're probably right. I did try reporting to Twitter, but just couldn't figure out how to do that.
They make you choose from endless lists of topics, but none appears to be accessibility issues.
I'm sure it's there somewhere, but I ran out of patience.

Maybe I'll try again on the weekend.

If you're using the native Twitter app, the two ways to access links are either using the rotor, or going into the tweet and double tapping on the link.

Going into the tweet and double tapping the link is how I use to access them, but now, even when in the tweet, VO reads the whole thing, link and all in one go.

Setting the rotor to links also doesn't work. It use to, but not for the past week or so, since updating.

I guess I'll have to wait until the next Twitter update, and cross my fingers.

Ok, it's definitely the latest Twitter app update.

Best thing right now is don't tap on the tweet. stay in the list of tweets and use the action rotor. Usually if you flick up the link will be there.

Thanks so much. I didn't know that was even an option.
Much appreciated.

Now, can anyone do something about all the horrible content on Twitter? LOL
