Hi, I’m wondering if anyone can recommend any accessible blogging platforms that i can use on an ipad/iphone, Mac or braille display? Also wondering if Wordpress is still accessible?
Many thanks

Dreamwidth.org is a great blogging platform. I'm Irish_storm should you wanna check me out. Granted I haven't written in awhile with life being what it is. There's live journal, but if you are at all political, the russians have that one. I only keep it because of a permanent account. Don't know much about wordpress so can't help on that one. There's dead journal but you need a code and I don't have one. so if anyone does, let me in! Hope that helps somewhat.

Is Wordpress accessible? It sounds like a simple question. But there are many interfaces for and wrappers around Wordpress. I maintain several Wordpress sites by interfacing directly with the Wordpress admin pages, and it's accessible for me on my Mac with Safari. Different platforms, different UI wrappers, and different plugins might present accessibility issues.

Hi,
I will try Wordpress.com on Mac. When I tried it on PC, I got what seemed to be totally empty screens.

I cannot agree more about Dreamwidth. I've been on there since 2014, and it is 100 percent accessible with speech using VoiceOver on my Mac and iPhone. This includes their mobile site. I have yet to try out all the themes, but if past reading is any indication there are no issues. I don't know yet how Dw performs with a Braille display, but hope to find out very soon. The devs are very responsive and transparent. As a matter of fact I was supposed to post on there today, but I forgot. Lol guess I'll post a quick entry. I'm jazzyjj on there if you and/or anybody else want to hit me up. I just discovered a good community on there for newbies. Check it out at https://getting-started.dreamwidth.org . Wp isn't bad either, but some of their themes are questionable in terms of accessibility.
