I wasted too much on bitlife, then those stupid developers just made it not working, I wanted to buy more gems in swordy quest but I am now too afraid of buying anything through appstore. unless apple changes the refund policy.
A better idea as for me not to buy ios games at all.
At least iPhone is a working daily tool for me, first of all.
Not the way for entertainment.
Just my opinion.
Cheers!
I respect your concern as it pertains to bitlife. I never spent actual money on that one, and even when it was accessible, I found its interface to be cluttered and tedius. I keep it around, though, just in case. As for Swordy Quest, I don't understand why you have concerns there. It's one of the most accessible games out there these days, and definitely the closest to my long lost favorite, Solara. I respect your decision, but feel that it may be a bit of an over reaction and am not quite sure why it warranted a post on here. Then again, I'm taking time to respond, so...
I really don't think that pretty much saying you aren't going to buy *literally* any more iOS games is going to help here. Yes, you had a not-so-good experience with one developer. One. Shoving all other devs in the same basic corner with those whose experience wasn't to your liking does more harm than good, particularly to you. Before making rash statements like this, think.
Here's my thoughts on this. This could and has happened to other apps not game related and even for the blind. Example maps explorer by APH being no longer available. Oh how I would love to get my $76.00 back but it's not going to happen. Another app would be money reader which I believe was also a paid app. Would like to get my money back as well since it's no longer available but I'm not going to so I just learned to accept it for what it is. Do I wish the policy would change? yes but I know apple won't change it.
The games made for blind are simple and not that great. Give me GMA tank command, lone wolf, and star trek 2000. Sad they are only for Windows. There are no Football game, Base ball. Not interested in managing them but playing. Nothing. The only way I could play those games if I was sighted. Bella the cat would not even touch the blind games. She probably would lose interest
I like sonar island.
and I plaid the subscription!
they are wroking very hard to make the game better and
they are working very hard to make the game better and better.
Some iOS games I like are:
Accessible Hangman, Choose your face, audio wizards, life of a wizard, RS games, dice world vampire, sins of the Siriers. Yeah, I’ve had bad experience with some developers, Nearby Explorer and Money Reader is money I’m never getting back, but I think of how great those apps were for their time. Also do it write. I have an old iPad it might work on which I plan to jailbrake. It’s an iPad Mini 2 and there is a jailbrake tool which takes advantage of a hardware exploit which can never be patched by Apple. So I’ll see how that goes when I do it. NAVIGON North America is another app I have troubles with. The Map manager doesn’t load. The app is still in the store so I think that can be resolved. Any, apps come and go, and all that’s left are memmories.
