Hi again! I’ve been trying to poke around here a bit, but there is so much to try and sort through so I figured I might as well just jump in and ask the community!

I’m looking for phone games at the moment. End it seems like a challenge to find ones that Can actually peak my curiosity and hold my attention. Hopefully you guys can help throw some ideas around!

List of games I love:
Portal one and two
Undertale
To the moon
Jazzpunkg

Detroit become human

Presentable liberty

Mobile games include:
Tiny tower
Mystic messenger
Plants versus zombies
Geometry Dash
Harvest moon/stardew valley

And many many other games . But as you can tell I mostly listen to people play games since all of these are not very visually impaired friendly. I also enjoy quite a few VR games but I wouldn’t be able to play them. And example though is beat saber, diner Duo, accounting, Rick and Morty VR, and others that I can’t remember at the moment.

I’ve also started to look into RPG games and I think it’s going to be right up my alley! But that’s going to take a while to figure out, and try and find people to play with. sSo in the meantime I hope this is enough information to start with! Any help you guys could come up with would be greatly appreciated, So don’t be afraid to bombard me with tons of info! Thanks in advance!

No offense, but you do realize that this is a site especially for blind people, right? And as far as my knowledge goes, blind or visually impaired people like us aren't able to play any of those games. So I recommend you check out a mainstream forem instead of this one.

I don't know what kinds of games you want, but here are some of my favorites. If you want a game that can take a while and is very addicting, check out time crest. For life simulation games, check out alter ego and bit life, personally, I prefer bit life over alter ego. For some fund dice games, check out dice world.

If you are looking for an action adventure audio game, I suggest playing this game called A Blind Legend. Someone in the Applevis community has also posted tutorials on playing this game. Hope this helps.

Games with lots of dialogue and easy to watch:
Beyond: Two Souls and Heavy Rain, both by the makers of Detroit.
Telltale games's The Walking Dead, Batman, Game of Thrones, Tales from the Borderlands, Sam and Max series Minecraft: Story Mode. That last one has actually been adapted by Netflix into an audio described and choice-based interactive TV series which might actually be worth your time a bit more than the game, since audio description.
The Longest Journey series: The Longest Journey, Dreamfall: The Longest Journey and Dreamfall Chapters.
Life is Strange.
Tex Murphey series: Under a Killing Moon, the Pandora Directive, Overseer and Tesla Effect (In that order.

To actually play instead of watch:
Timecrest: The door
Frequency Missing
Alt-Frequencies
Heathcote. That last is actually free

I lost most of my vision about a year ago. So between hundreds of doctors appointments, and two surgeries. Been trying to recover and I finally started getting help from my local blind association in the past couple months.

I just wanted to try and get back into gaming since it was one of the things that gave me joy. But I sincerely had no clue where to start. Thought giving examples of the types of games i used to enjoy would help.

I didn’t mean for this to sound like a joke, and if it came across that way I’m sorry. I’ll try to be more clear in the future, but hopefully you understand.

Thank you to those of you who have made suggestions! I’m definitely going to play a lot of these, quite a few sound really cool! And I’m definitely going to keep listening to gamers on YouTube. I hope you all have a wonderful day! ❤️

It didn't sound like a joke to me. Lots of even fully blind gamers enjoy all manner of games, whether they can play them or not. You'll always ruffle someone's feathers with even the most innocent questions unfortunately. Just have to take it in stride.:) There was nothing wrong with your question. And as you can see, you got quite a few answers, so this might have been an isolated incident.
