Since the city of blood page has become a battlefield of audio game fans versus text game fans, and I guarantee the skies page will become another fighting thread once the audiogame fanboys get their hands on it, I decided to create this thread to discuss both games. post invite links, questions, and anything else related to the games!

Hi,

Well I played city of blood for some minutes and it seams, again like the games of Storm 8 and Ukengames we had some years ago. basically same layout, same things to do, same level and job system, you get my point.

So, does the game have anything that makes it stand out and which I haven't discovered yet?

Greetings Moritz.

@morityi (or should I call you Simba), the games are indeed like the storm8 ones in many respects, get stamina and life over time, do missions, recruit people to get stronger.
However, what I personally find interesting is that unlike storm8, and I believe the ucon games, there is actual flavour text in the missions and need to buy items and gear to proceed, making it more a question of battling your way through a continuous story, than just grinding for bigger numbers.

are there similar games out there? Most definitely there are.
As I said on the skies of blood entry though, if you just want something to pick up, do a quick story sequence, bash a few bad guys and move on, they work well enough, indeed rather better than storm8 did imho, since they actually use the text to tell you what is going on and give some sort of atmosphere to the games.

So, unique? No. But amusing, quite possibly, if you find the idea of bashing bad guys and accomplishing objectives from time to time amusing.

I downloaded both of the games and they are essentially the same thing; same mechanics, same system. The only difference between them is the plot, and that is minor. Here is my invite link if anyone wants to join my gang:

Hi.

Well yeah, the flavor text is a nice adition, but nothing really that sets the game apart imo. Certainly it gives some more depth to the mission, but stuff like, Where do you want to go? From a taxi driver isn't really what I would consider reall in depth.
Also i gotta correct you on something, both Storm 8 and Uken, as well as the Battle cry RPG do require certain items for mission, in storm8 games if you didn't have an item for a mission, it prompted you to buy it and if you did, it would go through with the mission.

Greetings Moritz.

Hi. I've downloaded all 4 games in this series. The other two are elven blood and blood lust. I'd like friends to play with if anyone's interested. I'll come bak and post the links when I grab them from my iphone.

I downloaded a couple of these games, and I am having a lot of trouble.
The focus jumps everywhere, especially when I am trying to do jobs.
I heard a podcast with a demo, and they were so accessible there.
So I'm wondering if it's just iOS14 causing this problem.
I have tried with screen recognition on and off, as well as image descriptions on and off, but the focus just won't keep its place as I try to read the screen.
Any tips or workarounds for this?

Hello the focus is a bug with I was again in a recurring bug with every major update for some reason for voiceover I meant for iOS
