There used to be a lot of shooters for iOS, like audio defense, nebula, sixth sense, and audio invaders. I believe all of these games are no longer available, and it's sad that all good things must come to in end. With that said, are there any more recent shooters that have come out which are enjoyable to play? I have scoured the app directories and found very little of note.

Yeah totally do not recommend that game BTW. That game is a total shithole. Other than that, unless memory serves me right, ya shit out of luck. Sorry but ya ain't gunna get that excellence of quality games of that sort of genre of what ya listed above. BTW, they were all fantastic games! I'm happy to be proven wrong though.
Nebula was a blast
although the missions where, absolutely brutal. I only mannaged to beat it once as far as story mode. Good times for sure.

The sounds might take getting used to, but it is a challenge, and doesn't cost much. Try it for a while, then, if you like it, buy the lifetime package for the cost of less than a couple of delivered pizzas.
