Ahoy all. Been looking for these type of apps and was wondering if any of you are using any? I am mainly interested in arms simulators,I.E weapons guns and such but I wouldn't mind others. They don't have to be fully accessible, but enough that it can be used would be good. Falcon wings.

Other then solara, I've been playing a lot of the games by teamLava. I play Castle Story, zoo story two, City Story, and pet shop story. They're all quite fun, but not very accessible. I did, however, get my zoo up to level 11, in my castle is up to level nine or 10, so I'm not doing too bad

sixth cense is a great game.
I wouldn't call 6thsence a simulator either, although games by lava studios could be called as such, I was looking for apps more like those where you hold the device in a certain way to load a gun if its a gun simulator, and then fire it through gestures and such. Falcon wings

Gun simulators would be cool, but I think it would be even more interesting if someone came out with an accessible flight simulator. There are two of those for Windows PC's, so I don't see why it can't be done with Macs and iOS devices.
That would be very awesome. With sighted assistance, you might be able to use an app called Mellodive, which isn't exactly a full-on flight sim but uses a lot of audio cues.
An accessible flight sim would be totally rad! I'm into aviation, and I think that if someone could code that with different aircraft moddle--Cessnas, f16, tankers, helicopters, etc that would be neet. Of course I'd rather use the accelerometer to do the flying, and I also think it'd be neet if it had a simulated combat thing in there where you could do dogfights with machine guns, cannons, missiles, etc.

There's a partly accessible gun simulator app named Shotgun Free by Inedible Software that was suggested on the viphone list back in 2009. The current version has 4 startup screens that you have to get past. VoiceOver says "page 1 of 4". Toggle VoiceOver off with triple click home, then swipe left 3 times before you toggle VO back on. It's actually possible to read these screens by taking screen captures and sending them to Prizmo 2 if you set the "Readability" tab to text to "White" before processing. These are just welcome screens.

Double tap the "Btn Launch Shotgun" button on the main screen. You basically hold the iPhone horizontally in either your right or left hand, with the long edge of the phone parallel to the ground. Snap your wrist down to load, cock, and then fire the shotgun. Your action may be a little easier if you turn VoiceOver off, but you'll be able to read the buttons like "loaded" if you leave VO on.

Hello Esther. Thanks bunches for the app suggestion. this is the kind of app I was looking for. although I would've prefered a app with other guns besides just a shotgun,I suppose we take what we get. =grin. if anyone finds any more apps like these,do please let me know. Falcon wings.
