This game has been made. I downloaded it, it is called "Blindfold deal or not." I think it has been removed from the Apps Store at the moment, think there are a few bugs related to purchasing upgrades. I did manage to play this game, and it is a very good game indeed. Maybe a suggestion for an update in the future would be to have some crowd sounds after you open a box. These sounds would mainly be applause/screams of delight when you open a low value box such as £1, or cries of dismay when you open a large sum of money such as the £1000000. Hope it comes back to the Apps Store soon!
If I had known that it was made I would've downloaded it. I hope it comes back or I could do a search. But I agree with the sound effects. They could use the effects from the show it self because its not their own. They get it from soundboard. And I have the actual music if Marty wants it.
I have long thought a game would be a wonderful way to introduce newly-blinded adults, sighted O&M specialists in training and blind children to crossing streets. You could start with quiet residential areas and move in to busy five-way city intersections, crossing six-lane expressways and those odd-angled intersections with rude drivers turning right on red, cutting off pedestrians.
There are so many great car sounds from the loud bray of a truck horn and rattling of its tractor-trailer to the whisper of a Prias's tires. It's a perfect opportunity to use binaural information to become master of one's environment!
And in a game you can get killed and reincarnated until you master the crossing. In a game you can quiz a beginner on listening skills first "can you tell the difference between parallel and perpendicular traffic", or "you are facing north, and a car is angling off around a corner; what direction is it traveling?"
And as we grow older and our hearing fades, how can we test that it's still sharp enough to monitor traffic?
We blind folks need to listen carefully and knowledgeably to traffic to safely cross, yet there is no true way to easily practice the skill now.
Hello. I have had this idea for some time. I ewould like a game like termite torpedo for windows. That would be awesome. I liked playing that. Also maybe a viritual pet game?
Is it possible to make trading work slightly better in the Monopoly game?
Some trades work, but the way the computer players trade will vary. So for example, I recently played a game and tried to trade a property with the computer player Jamie. However, while I had £3500, Jamie asked for £5100. Could you maybe make the trading a little smarter, so the computer players will trade with you, based more on the money you have available to you?
He bases his trades based on some multiple of the difference between the rent when a hotel must be paid.
I can let you adjust what multiple of that is. For example, if Baltic hotel is 200 and Park Place is 1600, it will be some multiple of 1400, I think.
As the title suggests, I'm still crazy about Color Crush. To that end, I have a couple of questions.
More Gem Packs Please. I'd totally eat up a couple more color packs, with colors not in the first set, which I guess are primary colors? What about secondary colors, such as brown, black, pink and gold, that aren't in the first set? Or colors you get when mixing other colors. Don't mind me. I've never seen colors, so I don't know jack about them, but I find them fascinating.
I would also eat up a magical gem pack, with things like 'fairy', 'elf', leprechaun', 'genie' and 'sprite, to name a few.
Also, could one create a gem pack, if one had some knowledge about how the board should be laid out? This would save the developer time, and people could learn to add their own unique gem packs.
About Flappy. I've noticed there are no flapping wing sounds. I love flapping sounds. Just ask my cat, There-There. He has these thin, limber flappy ears that make a variety of neat sounds, depending on how they flap on my hand. I love the flappin's!
Still racing my horse, Gunsmoke. Haven't tackled most of the BF games, as I'm really into Crush, but I'm sure I'll get to them.
I haven't bought all the gem packs available, such as the sports teams or the funny body sounds. I wouldn't mind being able to preview the body sounds to see what they're like before I purchased them.
I think that it would be nice to have both options. I know that blind Cricket game by Audio game hub had the option between finger, or swinging. Personally I prefer the Blind Fold series of games over the Blind Cricket. I think that the physics works a bit better.. The game I'd like to see would be a Blind Fold version of Mappy. It's one of the games that was off of the Packman TV plug in games. It was pretty fun. You ran around a room trying to get things, and then also not getting caught.

The person who posted the idea about a game learning to cross streets has an excellent idea. I would like to learn a little better how to cross streets, but a game would take out a lot of anxiety when you're trying to learn and not getting worried about getting hit by a car. In fact, maybe this should be a forum post. Thank you to Deborah Armstrong for posting her great idea.
I think this is something worth paying for, if you can simulate it. It's hard to get accurate data for the brain to parse when you're doing it live. I also don't have the patience or inclination to practice the same sort of thing over and over outside, but something like a game you could play where you can experiment with stuff for the extra data would be handy. Also not all areas have all possible terrain types, or traffic conditions. I have other ideas but they belong in another thread probably.
Headphones would probably be a necessity for this game. I suppose walking the character could be simple. One can either hold a finger on to the screen to make the character walk and released the screen in order to make the character stop. Alternatively one could tap the screen as fast as you wish your character to walk/run. These are my suggestions.
Something else was the name of the company who developed the game called papa sangre, in which you would move your character by walking. The screen would be in the landscape position; you would tap the bottom right corner to step with your right foot, and the bottom left corner to step with your left foot. To turn your character, you simply turn your device. The turning would work just like how it works in the blindfold racer game. Yes, you would need headphones/earbuds to play.
I like the walking method for Papa Sangre. And like someone suggested maybe you just continue walking along different street crossings. And to make it more fun maybe they get more and more challenging and you earn points for successfully crossing.
Yeah, maybe set up the walking like Papa sangre, and the points system sounds good. And I don't want to sound like a broken record, but I think blindfold risk would be better. Not that this one doesn't sound good , because it is a good idea.
I don't know if this would be distracting or not but what if you had the flapping sound as an option, but you had it in the background. So the game was still about pitches of tones but in that background of the tones playing could be a flapping sound...
Maybe that might work. Maybe I could get my cat to flap his ears on my hands while I record it. I swear that cat has ears as broad as wings, and when they flap, it doesn't sound like your average pair of thin ears flapping. It sounds like heavy sheets flapping in the wind. LOL
I am still finding that there is a bug with the "My Scores button" in Blindfold Invaders. When I complete a level and go into the "My Scores" section, it will always announce that my score for the game was zero points. Can this be fixed? Would you like me to turn on remote logging and send it to you?
What about the playing card game Sevens? I think it can go by a couple different names. I have actually never played myself but a relative was explaining it to me and it sounded really fun. I downloaded all the apps of the game in the app store except the one you had to pay for and none were accessible IMO. I did Email the developer of the paid app and I never heard back. It's only been 4 days though.
I've thought about that a few times, but I don't think it would be popular. maybe you can ask around.
Diid you play with Blindfold Slide Puzzle?
I will be releasing a Shape Puzzle soon.
To Queenofeagles07, The prices do not change for different countries. If the game is a dollar, what ever is equal to a dollar in your money, that's what's going to be charged. That's an example. I live in the Caribbean (Trinidad and Tobago) If I bought a game that's a dollar, I'm just paying 6 tt dollars but in my own currency. The pricing of the game is in U.S dollars. I hope I made sense.
I live in a country with a weak currency. Therefore, I also did pay around R250 for some of these games. Unfortunately that's life. You really only have two choices. You can close your eyes and buy one, or you can sit one out. It is true that Apple does not change the prices for different countries. However you still need to pay the amount of rands/euro/shekels/whatever in order to make up those dollars.
While I do understand that for many people, purchasing games is hard either due to financial issues related to employment or weak currencies, remember that Marty is charging as low as he can for the games. In a post from last month, he said that he would earn more money serving fries at McDonald's.
I don't know if the Phase 10 card game has been requested in this large forum so I thought I'd add my request for the game to the mix.
Also, I find that most of the time I just turn off the music of the games because I just don't like it. What I would like to see is the ability to choose between music tracks from theKF Inc. library. For example, the music track I really enjoy is found with the BF Dominos game. I really would like to be able to have that track play in all my card games. Is this possible?
To the developers... I just want to tell you that you have really done well with the card games category. All controls function well. I appreciate all the work that you do for this community. Thank you for many hours of satisfying card games.

There were some problems with the purchasing. New version should be out soon.

Would anybody else be interested in playing Blindfold Risk?
Re: Blindfold Risk
I would definitely play Blindfold Risk! I've not played before!
I'd Love To Play
What about an audio version of Super MarioBros., football and Scrabble? Or a fighting or shooting game?

Have you considered a golf game?

Street crossing
How would this game work? Please be detailed
Not sure
I'm not very good at thinking of ways to design games, I just thought it was an interesting idea and thought I would second the suggestion.

I agree about the flapping sounds. It is called flappy and it would be cool to actually hear the flapping. Just a thought.

The pitch of the sound changes as the bird goes up and down, and the flap sounded really weird at different pitches.

No more Blindfold games or updates
Can I just say a huge thank you to Marty for all he has done for blind gamers over the last four years!
This is a very sad situation indeed, I really don't know what Apple are trying to achieve with app content anymore.
I for one will really miss playing the Blindfold games.
All the best for the future Marty!
