question on a solara quest

Hey to all that play solara. It's a good game, but I'm having issues with the arena quests at level 13. I tried every combo I could think of and I'm always defeated, except for twice. Are these just dumb luck? I'm beginning to think so. lol! I love the game though.

Take a hard look at the makeup of both parties. Don't attack if they have lots of heroes that are higher than your level. The less obvious answer, however, is to make sure that you have a better combination than the defender. Look for groups that don't have a healer or magic support. Also remember that the heroes in your first two slots will act more frequently than those in your last two. Develop your party strategy accordingly. Do you like to heal often? Cast magic often? Hit hard and often? Finally, and you probably have already done this, make sure all of the heroes in your party are at their maximum level. Look for opportunities where the defender hasn't done this.

Actually one of the quests which I have not done yet is to fight a castle at level 14 so in that case I would have no choice I think. I did make sure my heroes are trained and trained well. I'm slowly learning the game and hope to one day do a podcast when I've mastered most of it lol! Also, I cant' tell wha'ts what as the hero types don't read, just the names. in the arina place. and sometimes they don't even read but there's only abattle button so i can't really tell what I'm fighting. Thanks for the pointer on the slot positions. I was kind of wondering how to make sense of those, to know which Character to put in which slot. I have found that my arena chances do improve if I have a healer and the other castle doesn't. And yes, definitely make sure that The heroes you plan to use are at their maximum levels!

I get defeated as well during quests, and I too have tried various combinations. I thought it was just me! Thanks for the tips.

Hello there, I have found if you attack people who are ranked higher than you are in the list will give you more rating (points). I attacked the first person in the arena list and got rating plus 17 each time. After an unknown time you will be able to fight that same opponent again. I am at level 19 for example and I attack groups lower than I am and my combination is good I will win rating plus ?. To stretch out your food usage have the game select a fight by choosing challenge a close rival. You will also get rating plus 1 extra if you do this. Example. I pick the opponent it will cost me more food and I will get one less plus. This based on experience. It is fun and worth doing the arena for the esper prizes. Also look at difference combinations which others are using. look at resistance. Those in the upper slots will be attacked more often. High resistance is good.

Bringing a Mage will oftenly help, since the frost blasts damage the other party's forces easily. An Archer might also work too, and for more luck, bring a Healer. Knights also do great damage.
With just enough luck you can defeat a person with a higher level. I am level 31 managing to defeat a level 34 person, also a level 35!
