Hey everyone, I want to share an iPhone mobile web accessible game I just started building on Lovable. The game is currently set up and building, and the core gameplay involves throwing snowballs at regular penguins and powerful Penguin Bosses to collect Diamonds.
> Important: Headphones are required to hear the 3D directional audio and spatial effects correctly.

Technical Note for Updates
Since this is a mobile web game built on Lovable and not a native app, you must refresh your screen in Safari to see new updates when I push them out. A "What's New" pop-up will appear immediately after a refresh to highlight the latest changes.
Early Features & Arcade Games
* Arcade Selection: I am currently building Penguin Pop and Diamond Dash. Please note these are unlockable features as you progress.
* Reward Systems: Includes a Scratch Card, Lucky Wheel, and Arctic Slots.
* Achievements: A dedicated section to track your milestones and progress.
* Daily Streaks: Log in every day to maintain your streak, collect rewards, and receive a free spin.
* Atmosphere: Features a peaceful theme with ambient noises, 3D audio cues, and haptic feedback.
Game Modes
* Standard: Easy, Medium, Hard, and Endless.
* Premium Modes: I am building specialized challenges including Boss Rush, Speed Blitz, Zen Mode, and Daily Challenges.
* Note: Within these Premium Modes, higher difficulty levels may also need to be unlocked through gameplay.
Accessibility & VoiceOver
To ensure a high-performance, lag-free experience, the game uses a custom built-in narrator. The game will prompt you to toggle VoiceOver OFF for the following:
* All Game Modes (Standard & Premium)
* Arcade Games (Penguin Pop & Diamond Dash)
* Shop, Slots, Scratch Card, & Lucky Wheel
* Achievements
Note: The Settings menu, the how to play and Ambient noise selection, What's New log, and Send Feedback form fully support VoiceOver and do not require it to be turned off. Here is the direct link to my new iPhone mobile web accessible game. I would love to know your guys’s thoughts I’m currently looking for feedback to my new iPhone mobile web accessible game you can submit your feedback in settings where the feedback form is located. https://penguin-splat-chatter.lovable.app/

This is an interesting game and a pretty fun concept. After all, who wouldn't want to spend a day tossing snowballs at penguins? 🐧
Sadly, I likely would have better luck hitting a real life penguin with a real life snowball. While the concept of this game is fun, the controls leave something to be desired. The gestures for navigating are not difficult to perform, but there were several times when the game simply could not register the gesture I was doing. Swipes, for example, I had to slow drag my finger completely across the screen for the swipe to even register. Taps worked, but not always in the area where I actually was tapping. This was most noticeable in game menus, but was also prevalent in the gameplay itself. For example, on the first level of the primary game, at one point a penguin appeared on the left side of the screen, however when I tapped that spot, it was like I hit the middle or right side of the screen, as if I completely missed the penguin.
While in game menus, the swipe gestures were not always moving to the very next item, but rather several items over. The settings menu for example I would go from the first item, to the second item, to the fifth item, to the ninth item, just by simply swiping left or right. Thankfully, voiceover can be used in the menus, which makes navigating them much better.
If this is working as intended, then my apologies.
As for the ingame gestures, if you can somehow tighten up the controls, so they are a bit more precise, I think this game will be an instant hit.
One more thing, in the settings screen we have an option for ambient music/sounds, but for some reason I did not hear any music or sound effects either in the game menus, or the gameplay itself. Just wanted to give you a heads up on that.

Overall, I think this game has a whole lot of potential, the controls just need to be tightened up a little.

Thanks for reading. 😎

thank you for your feedback, I appreciate it a lot, and yes, I’m aware of those issues, and I will address them as soon as I can, I’m glad though that you’re enjoying the game overall. Thanks again for your feedback.

Poor penguins, they need a lawyer. Long live cats and penguins.

This is a terrific game with a lot of potential. I really like the daily rewards, the minigames and the daily calendar challenge. However, I have earned enough diamonds to unlock Penguin Pop but am unable to do so. In the settings screen, when attempting to select Penguin Pop, I am instructed to start the game first before unlocking it.

Do you think this will become a standalone app in the future, or will you keep it as a web-based game? Just curious.

thank you, I really appreciate it in regards to you being able to unlock one of the arcade games that you just unlocked that is a bug and I will address that. What is it saying exactly when you are trying to unlock it because I have addressed it before, but the bug has came back, obviously, and that’s a great question. I think I’m gonna keep it as it is now I don’t think I see it turning into an app, but maybe in the future.

I was able to unlock both Penguin Pop and Diamond Dash a few minutes ago. However, I am experiencing a problem where i am sometimes thrown out of the game when tapping the bottom half of the screen. Is anyone else experiencing this?
