Hey all.

Yes, the MK games are indeed playable, I have played all mortal kombat games and they are accessible from the get go, excluding MK sub zero and shao lin muncs because these two were RPG's.
The MK games were and are available on all sorts of consoles, from arcade machines, N64, gameboy, playstation, xbox and the PC for the last 3 games.

The iOS version is not accessible because it's more of a card collection and team builder game than a real fighting game.

Explaining MK in general and the lore behind the series would be to much for this threat.

Greetings Moritz.

I was able to win the first fight. However, after the fight there is a menu which can't be navigated due to its inaccessibility.

I usually fight using swipes.

I've played Mortal Kombat on the PlayStation but it would be so cool if it could be accessible for iOS. That game really rocks.

Mortal kombat 11 for ps4, xbox 1 and nintendo switch has an in-game screenreader. It's quite cool but it does not read all of the menus though. It also has sound queues such as two dings for a fatal blow.

The only way to find out if the Braille display works is to try it. I'd be more interested if it had the same techno music it did back in the 90s on N64. if you're fighting with swipes on the iPhone screen, how do you know where to go/how to swipe?

You don't know where you're going. I just tapped and swiped, hoping for the best. I've long since deleted the app. No use keeping it around just for one fight. After the fight, I'm lost in the inaccessible menus.

if we use PS4 controller for it.
if does it easier to play?

I wish someone would shed some light on this matter. So far, no one is forthcoming. What can and cannot be done with a PS4 controller? It's funny how people bash iOS game devs for not having console quality, But once a game has the potential To be played with a PS4 controller, they are nowhere to be seen. I have no ps4 controller, otherwise I would have given an answer ages ago. Where is all those PS4 junkies now?

Is this accessible via the steam platform? Or did I miss a comment?

Hi.
I just read on Twitter that Mortal Kombat Mobile is partially accessible with VoiceOver. I tried it and it's quite good.

Guys, I tried to play but at a certain point, I don't know if during the tutorial or at the end, the screen is blank and the voice no longer reads anything. Do I need to enable direct touch to be able to play?

But I should try it.
