I have a question about a text-based game from Hosted Games LLC

Hi,

I have a question about a particular series under the "Hosted Games, LLC" collection of choose your adventure titles. Several years ago, I started playing the series called "The Lost Heir: The Fall of Daria". There are three titles in the series, and they are overall a pretty good story/gameplay experience. They are text-based RPG, and they had one unique feature that I have not been able to find in any of the other titles, either by "Hosted Games" or their counterpart, "Choice of Games". While these games are primarily text based, the one feature I'm referring to is a little pop-up dialogue that would appear throughout the game, anytime you gained something that gave you either more experience, or a stat increase, or even decrease during the game. Just for example, let us say during your gameplay, you happen to find a sword with +10 to strength. Upon receiving the item, the dialogue would pop up with "Strength +10".
My question to any of you is, has anyone play any other games, either buy these companies or another, that is text-based by design, yet has similar features? It is a small thing, really, but it truly adds to the overall atmosphere of the game.
