I saw that Dark Echo was inaccessible and it got me wondering, are there any accessible horror games? Or if not, any games that aren't really heard of that are good? I'm looking for something new.
There used to be some really great survival horror audio games back in the day on iOS, games like:
The Night Jar
Papa Sangre (1&2)
Where's My Rubber Ducky? (Don't laugh, this is a real title)
First Times (interactive fiction with sound effects)
Sixth Sense
I know I am missing some, but these are the ones I can remember off the top of my head. Unfortunately, none of these are currently on the App Store as far as I can tell. I am not sure if the games are outdated, or what, they just don't seem to exist anymore. About the closest thing I could offer you currently would be the following:
FEER: an endless runner where you collect points, and dodge zombies.
Zombie Exodus: choose your own adventure about a zombie apocalypse, provided by "Hosted Games LLC".
Zombie Exodus, Safe Haven: sequel to the above.
I played, and lost, all those on and after iphone 4. There's this youtube channel I subscribed to a week ago where this guy's been playing papa sangre and audio defence and is telling how to get those again, basically loading .ipa files. Haven't tried but definitely on my to-do list. Might update here when I can.
Edit: I heard of those two and only played 6th sense for like one full year, and this other dog game too.
