Hello. I am playing King Of Dragon Pass.
I seem to have no magic and I don't know how to get more.
Also my farmers are sad because the weapon whatevers have been getting preferential treatment.
I would need help with those two things.
Edit: My clan seems unhappy. I would need help there too. :-)
Edit: I somehow managed to make magic, and lots of it, but I have no idea what I did. Also now both the warriors and farmers are uncertain. The clan is worried.

Magic
You get magic at the beginning of each year. Every time you check a box, like giving yourself crops or health or mysteries, you use up magic. If you use all your magic at the start of the year, you won't have magic to use during the year.
You can get more magic by having a good proportion of men and women on the ring, by having a trickster on the ring, or by successfully completing a ritual, i.e. reendancting a story in the gods' realm. The last is a pretty big bonus but they're a certain amount of work on your part, but after a while you should be able to do one of them a year. There are also magic items that will give you an extra magic at sacred time.
If your farmers or thanes are unhappy, you can give one group or the other gifts. If you give one group and not the other, though, that can cause the other group to get mad. Look out for events where you can make both groups happy or you can make the most unhappy group happy. They also have priorities that will make them unhappy if they're not met, like I think the thanes get mad if they never ever fight and the farmers get mad if there's too much fighting, or something. There are quests/rituals/whater they're called that will make the groups, or the clan overall, happy and you can do that as a last resort if they're super mad.

Looks like my clan is extremely unhappy and I don't know how to fix that. A feast will not work and I have tried the hope blessing.
The weapon tanes and farmers are okay. We have food and cattle, though not very many goods.
Split?
Your clan might be too large. It's possible that this year you might get an event about splitting off the clan. I try to avoid splitting in various ways so as to run a large clan but it's also OK to split.
Other ways of dealing with unhappiness can include going to the god's realm (I try to do this every two years after the first few years if possible). It's also possible that you either are attacking too much or not attacking enough. If you haven't attacked in a few years your people will get upset. Finally, your ring might be unbalanced, which can happen in various ways. Try to have a balance of sexes (3 female / 4 male or vice versa), not repeat any gods, and especially not have any missing spaces on the ring.
Might be other reasons for your clan to be unhappy like bad events, bad reputation, etc., but that's what occurs to me now.

Just looked. I have over 1000 people. Somehow I managed to make them happy after a year. What a relief. Now we have a wealthy clan with lots of catle, goods and horses. We suck at hero quests though. Got to work on that.
I thought of king of dragon
I thought of king of dragon pass, but I am not sure it's worth the $9 or $10 just for a game, at least on iOs. I'm not griping, but I am wondering what makes it worth it.
Sick Farmers
Hey everyone. I have a problem because I have sick farmers and I don't know how to cure them

So, I just bought the game and I have an odd problem. Even though I attacked the puny ducks or what ever they are called, I still get that prompt at the top of the screen. Is this a bug, they are now my neighbor. Lol!
Don't attack the ducks
Nothing good ever comes from attacking the ducks. Just leave them be. You can trade with them for food, that's about it.

how do I make a tribe and how do I know when I am ready?

Some guy shows up and says he had a prophecy about making a tribe. You can either start the process then or put it off for a few years. It happens eventually in every game.

That sounds like my staff. I let her try and she created a clan. She played for twenty minutes and then she gave up and I tried to continue the game but the clan died after five minutes.
She was raiding all the time, mostly on sea season which is planting season and earth season where it is harvest time; maybe that was a reason. The cattle ran out in the end.
Losing?
How do you lose? Only times I've lost I've had one of the wipe events that comes really late and kind of randonly, like the troll queen or something. Feel like there's some low-hanging fruit you've yet to pick.

I'm playing this game now as well. it's good, but how the heck are we supposed to think like Orlanthi if we don't even know how he and his Storm Tribe thought in the Dark times? I wish we had some fanfictions and/or real published books on this guy so we could actually read them beforehand. plus, I'm finding out that if you have to many things open on screen at once, the game seems to crash--music stops, and it appears the game's closed. yet, when I enadct the app switcher on my phone, opening the game again, I'm pretty much back where I was. I don't agree in reading an entire manual just to play a game. it seems like cheating in my honest opinion. I mean, the Zelda games have to have this, but KODP? It's just a bunch of drajl in my opinion. if you've read any of the inheritance cycle, you'll know what that Urgal word means. to me, not worth ten dollars but will keep the app on my phone.
