Hi all. Hearthstone was accessible for 1.5 year because a programmer made it happen all by himself. Great work.
He made a AAA game accessible for us with great replay ability.
However, he cannot do it anymore by himself and he quit.
Therefore, there are two petitions created for Blizzard to make Hearthstone accessible.
These are:
https://www.change.org/p/nathan-lyons-smith-do-not-let-visually-impaired-players-lose-access-to-hearthstone
https://www.change.org/p/native-accessibility-for-hearthstone
Please support this.
Thank you very much.

For those of you
For those of you who do not know, guide dev is one of the programers for the Hearthstone access patch, which was made accessible only for windows users. However unfortunetly, because of private matters that he has to attend too, he is not going to be working on this now, which is why Blizzard needs to step up.
May be we can make iOS also accessible, also.
Signed it!
I signed them both. Good luck to you all!
just sign ed
just sign it.
it is not just hearthstone. but, all the games.
hope it is the begining to ask them to make their games accessible for all.

89% everybody!
This is an awesome petition!!! I also agree any app, it would be so cool if somebody were to put up a petition for all app developers pushing harder to emprove accessibility of apps.
What happened with this?
I tried patching hearthstone on my pc, but didn’t find hearthstone access on the web. Am I just dumb or it’s no longer accessible?
Developer retired the project
As I understand things, the dev for the accessibility mod no longer has the time to work on this. Supposedly Blizzard was going to take it over, but... 🤷🏻♂️
Hearthstone access is alive and well
there's an ongoing topic about it on audiogames.net. however the easiest way to get hold of the latest patch is by joining the discord server. I believe there's also a dedicated website for the latest patch, which has been taken over by the community.
Accessibility for games
Good morning everyone, wow, this was great that Hearthstone was somewhat accessible, the understanding of the dynamics of recoding would make it hard and expensive for the developers. Especially the lineups that blizzard has in their games would make it nearly impossible, and the cost of re-coding and adding stuff to make it accessibleoutweigh the benefits and the profits that they can make. Not to mention, in the gamers realm, Activision/blizzard has just now been bought out by Microsoft. So contacting the developers for blizzard entertainment would be a moot point. With outweigh the benefits and the profits that they can make. Not to mention, in the gamers realm, Activision/blizzard has just now been bought out by Microsoft. So contacting the developers for blizzard entertainment would be a moot point if anything, you would have to contact Microsoft accessibility team in order to get any response. Not to sound like a Debbie downer, but looking at a cost factor from a developer standpoint would not be feasible. I believe it would be great, as a blind gamer, I’ve been playing World of Warcraft, utilizing macros and different sound cues for years, but to actually implement, a accessibility option other than for color blindness would not be feasible
One of the reasons why I
This is one of the reasons why I kind of stopped playing Hearthstone, even though I enjoy the project. Even though I enjoyed the game and the accessibility patch.
Let’s not be dramatic about this
Firstly blizzard is still working for the accessibility project. Furthermore Microsoft has shown that it cares about accessibility. Moreover the patch he’s in great shape. Many more things have been improving lately and the response to any updates the game has is fantastic usually it works the same day. Finally now there are many developers working on it not just one guy. For more information go to this site it has also an auto update. https://hearthstoneaccess.com/
Game synopsis, please?
