Everrealm is a free, browser-based kingdom-building strategy game designed from the ground up for screen readers. It works with VoiceOver on iOS, plus NVDA, JAWS, and Orca on desktop. No downloads, no installation, no account needed.

What's new in v1.2.0

Three resources now flow between your specializations, creating a producer/consumer economy:

  • Trade Goods (Founding Age): Markets produce, Craft Districts consume for +4 bonus cacao
  • Knowledge (Age of Growth): Codex Houses produce, Temples consume for +10% extra multiplier
  • Materials (Age of City-States): Estates produce, Aqueducts consume for +3% extra multiplier

Balance your production and consumption for maximum efficiency. Surplus is wasted. Deficit means consumers go idle and produce nothing. No stockpiling. Per-turn balance only.

Resources unlock gradually, one per Age, so you learn one flow at a time. This adds real strategic depth: you can't just spam one specialization anymore. You have to think about what produces the resources your consumers need.

About Everrealm

  • Turn-based, calm, no combat, no timers, no fail states
  • Fully keyboard-driven with shortcuts for every action
  • Screen-reader first: all information is text, no visual info required
  • VoiceOver compatible on iOS
  • Saves locally in your browser
  • 6 Ages with layered mechanics that introduce complexity gradually
  • Mesoamerican theme

Feedback welcome. I'm the developer and a daily screen reader user, so accessibility reports are especially useful.

Unfortunately, I can’t even click on the link that you posted to play because it doesn’t open as a link. It also has the note thing after it so I think that’s also a problem. I would really like to try this, but my phone won’t let me click on the link. If you don’t mind, can you please help me?

Hi Lexi, thanks for reaching out β€” and I'm sorry the link gave you trouble. The game is definitely still up and free to play, no account needed. The URL is just:
everrealm.lanie.work
I fixed the links in the post, so you should be able to click them now, or you can just go to Safari on your phone and type that into the address bar.
Let me know if you still have trouble.
