There are. For example Space Encounter, Blindfold Invaders and probably others that I cannot remember.

I haven't found any that are as of late. But then it's been a while since I've really looked.

Space Encounter is $4.99 in the App store. I know their is a version for the Mack as well.

Although the app is free, you get a few games to try. Then, if you like it, and I hope that you do, you use in-app purchases for stuff like unlimited play, or so many games for a price. If you like the game, I suggest buying the full package for the best bang for your bucks. The game is based on Space Invaders.

Nebula is another great shooting game. It's tough to play but certainly worth a try.

I don't think you can play that unless you already have it though. I wish there was a good iOS shmup that didn't make you wave your arm around though.

I think sixth sense still works. And its free. Not sure if I spelt the name correctly.

Just to clarify: Sixth Sense does not work under IOS 11. The app hasn't been updated since 2013. This is one game I definitely miss playing.

All of those shooting games really suck! I heard that their is another shooter coming which I'm going to be testing out. But other then that, these ones suck. Space encounter, uh, all you do is shoot. Not really much to do there except shoot and collect items. I mean it's an okay game but come on. The enemies are the worst.

The sound of the enemies are just boring. No realistic sound and everything. The points system is worthless.

2. Nebula, really? Why should I go on, just another classic space invaders game. Sorry but I just can't help but writing a bad review about these 2 games. 1 game that might not suck is the game I'm going to be testing out, why not go and support the developer. otherwise, please, I recommend you not check those 2 games out. Have a nice day!

no! Why this! Why does it have to be zombie shooter that isn't really playable and is somewhat boring. Sorry but it just that I'm getting tired of the system where you have to use your finger to point 9:00 or 10:00, no nooooooo! This is not good. I like more VR FPS games like audio Defense. Well that's gone now but I hear they have a new game coming out which I'm going to be testing. You should support the developer. I do recommend it, he's a nice person and he has some great ideas. But other then that, 6thsence, Nebula, Heck even Space Encounter, um, not worth my or anyone else time in my opinion. I will respect your opinion but I mean, these developers have to start thinking outside of the box, you know what I mean. I have some great ideas as well like a thing where you can shoot things like different zombies like elemental zombies, demonzombies ETC. but anyway, have a good day.

Hello,
Most of the things you mentioned, in your comment, about not liking SixthSense or nebula or all that, seem to be your oppinion.
You can't really get people to avoid those games, because what if at some point the app developer decides to remove those apps?
Nebula is now free for those who get the app when it was free, and updated it. The good thing about it, is that it still works with the latest version of iOS, and the downside is it maybe still a little be destabilized, but better than the previous version.
To confirm, SixthSense is indeed uncompatible with iOS 11, which used to be my favorite game.
I only managed to make it to level 4, but the monsters were damn fast.
