FREEQ, Psychic Bunny’s audio adventure game for iOS and Android mobile devices, will be launching a free update that helps visually impaired users to play the game. FREEQ allows players to influence the events of the future by hijacking phone calls and radio broadcasts. Choosing who speaks to whom, when, and what information is shared with what sources has dramatic effects on what happens next, thanks to a unique storytelling engine. Written and performed in the style of classic radio dramas from the early twentieth century, FREEQ is primarily an audio game. Shortly after its release Psychic Bunny began to receive inquiries from members of the visually impaired community about support for players like them. We immediately saw that making the game accessible was the right thing to do, and further, that it was eminently possible. We would love to hear from the AppleVis community about whether our accessibility update meets your expectations. It will be available in the first week of October. In the meantime, here's a little audio teaser-trailer to give you a sense of what the game sounds like: https://soundcloud.com/psychic-bunny/freeq-audio-only-announcement
