I am looking for an accessible trivia game with a formal along the lines of either Jeopardy! or Who Wants TO Be A Millionaire?. (It is worth noting that neither one of these official game apps are themselves accessible.)
When suggesting games for Voice-Over users, it would really help if you determine whether a game can be used with Voice-Over before suggesting that it be tried. I, too, am looking for such trivia games, and would appreciate any suggestions of games that you know, for certain, are Voice-Over friendly. The probem that I have with Trivia Crack is that there is a 20 second time limit to choose the answer. At times, by the time I read the choices, my time has expired.
You can try trivia crack kingdoms which is mostly accessible. I say this because you used to have to turn off Voice over, no problem for me, but others may have disliked it. Now you just tap the button, and click play. The only problem might be that there's one box where you have to answer five questions in 30 seconds. If that's a deal breaker sorry about that. btw, the buttons are unlabeled, but again thi sisn't a problem for me, it may be for you. the boxes when you didn't use voice over, you didn't know which you were getting either.
Hello I have been playing Quiz Clash for a while now.
It is very accessible and is multi platform.
It is a traditional quiz game where you can challenge playes to a game
One fault is that when you have the free version the adverts are hard to
navigate around the paid upgrade is currently £2 ish.
Hello,
I would like to suggest you some games.
First of all, trivia crack but you already know it, I suppose.
I confirm you that it is mostly playable with VoiceOver, some features must be improved but they are working on it, many of us blind users are already actively playing it; they're improving its accessibility and in their reddit community they say it's going to improve update by update in the next one month or two.
Then, Trivia Crack Kingdoms. Some comments above, a user told you had to turn VoiceOver off to activate questions.
Now it's no longer necessary, you get the boxes, perfectly labelled, and can activate questions correctly, VoiceOver is very responsive in answers.
Then, we have Quizit, https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/quizit-free/id808243211?mt=8 another trivia game; this is a single player trivia with game center support in it.
On the settings page you can also deactivate image questions, so that you have not to worry to be forced skipping nasty questions. For this, the settings button is not labelled correctly, "definitions" instead of options! So, take care!
Last but not least, coming in the app store recently, it's called Quizoid, this is in English only.
Or you may wish to give a try to perk Pop quiz, a game which gives you also rewards to win gift cards or points to answer questions correctly. It's reviewed here on applevis too.
Well, I think I haven't to hide it, I'm completely addicted by quiz games!
Unfortunately not so many of them are multi-lingual, but for native English speaking users on the app store you can find the Whole universe, of games!
Quiz clash, I didn't know it - i'll take a look at Italian app store if I can find it here and give it a try!
Let's have fun with those games!
P.S. There is another one called quiz duel, but I am afraid this is just in italian quiz duello. I do not think they translated it in other Languages, android version was translated in english but I cannot be sure for iOS
Hi Andre. Yes, there most certainly are. I have one on my iPhone called "Harry Potter trivia", which was posted on Applevis some time ago. As somebody else posted, I also recommend Quizzoid. I haven't looked at Quiz It or Quiz Clash. Will have to check them out.
I love quizoid The game chooses the category, but do you have these things called lifelines. There is one where you can get two chances to answer the question, one where it's 50-50 between two answers, and one where you can change the question, but you can only use the lifelines one each game per lifeline. This quiz game makes different sounds for winning and losing and I don't know if there are any questions about Harry Potter but there is a literature category so there is a chance
It's a random selection of questions. You might also want to look into trivia to go, onl you can't know what answers you get wrong, I'd rather not always want to know what it is, makes it more fun.
One good thing about Trivia Crack Kingdoms is that you can subscribe to channels with topics of your interests such as Harry Potter, The Hunger Games, South Park, Simpsons, Pixar, and more! I haven't had any issues using Voice Over with this except picking the boxes can be tricky. Like answer this question and they will point out which box holds the king. I answer the question right and it doesn't tell me where the king is, or even why I'd want to find the king.
quiz up is accessible if you want to explore topics or read comments, but in my experiences, whenI click on a topic I can't find the play button. sadly it's not as accessible as it should be
Hi,
Millionaire Quiz, Song Trivia Name that Tune Quiz Pro, and Uiz Quiz Without Questions are some trivia games accessible with Voice Over. The Blindfold games are definitely accessible and they have some trivia games such as Blindfold Snakes and Ladders etc.
I'm not much of a gamer but I do enjoy playing the Millionaire app. Very accessible. But I am going to try out other trivia apps mentioned above. Thanks all.

Accessible Harry Potter trivia games for Voiceover users
Hi,
Are there any accessible Harry Potter trivia games for Voiceover users or not? I'm a huge totally blind Harry Potter fan and I would like to know if there are Voiceover-compatible games about this series or not.
Best,

Quizzoid game for VoiceOver users
Hi,
Is the Quizzoide game accessible for VoiceOver users or not? Can you choose your favorite question topics or does the game choose the topics for you? Does this game have sound effects for when you answer a question correctly or not? If I'm a fan of Harry Potter, does this game come with a topic relating to this bestseller from J. K. Rowling or not?
Best wishes,
André

True or false Trivia game for VoiceOver users
Hi everyone,
While I was browsing the iOS app directory, I came across a game called True or False Trivia. I heard that this game was VoiceOver-compatible, but I don't know whether this information is true or false. Is this game similar to the well-known Millionaire game or is this a completely different game? Is there a podcast about this game or not? What topics are available? Is the topic selection wide to suit everyone's interests or is it limited to three or four topics?
Have a nice day,
André

QuizUp game for VoiceOver users
Hi,
Is Quizup a VoiceOver-compatible Trivia game or not? Can a person choose their favorite Trivia topic or does the game choose the topic for them? Does this game contain sounds for winning or losing or not? If the sounds are annoying, can a user turn these off or not? Can the background music be turned off as well or not?
Best,
André

QuizUp accessibility for blind Trivia players
Hello,
Is QuizUp still inaccessible to VoiceOver users or not? Have the developers of this game fixed those accessibility issues or not? Can I delete a comment I made or not?
Have a nice day,

Trivia games with a wide range of topics
Hi,
Are there any VoiceOver-compatible Trivia games where the players can select their favorite topics or not? I know that Trivia Crack is one such game but I would like to know if there are other games where the players can select their favorite topics. Do these games exist for English-speaking users or not?
Best,

Quiz It allows you to select
Quiz It allows you to select a category, but category choices are just for general categories. I am going to try Trivia Crack and Millionaire.
