Hi everyone,

I’m happy to announce that Accessible Othello 3.0 is now available on the App Store.

Accessible Othello was originally released back in 2014, and version 3.0 is a complete rewrite, rebuilt using Apple’s latest technologies and frameworks.

This new version comes with more accessibility and customization options, as well as several improvements and new features, including:

  • 4 difficulty levels when playing against the computer.
  • Game Center multiplayer, allowing you to play matches against friends or other players.
  • More accessibility and customization options.
  • And much more.

There is also a Send Feedback button in the Settings screen. Please feel free to use it if you encounter any problems, find accessibility issues, or have suggestions for future improvements.

You can download Accessible Othello from the App Store.

I hope you enjoy the new version, and any feedback is very welcome!

Regards

Othello has been my favorite board game for many years. I've just played a game of Accessible Othello, and while it's taken me a bit to get the hang of playing on my phone and not on the physical magnetic gameboard, I really enjoyed playing. Thank you so much for the update!!

Every so often when I'm playing, the game makes a beeping sound. I have no idea what that sound is because it doesn't actually say anything.
Also, when a game ends, would there be any way for it to show the gameboard again before "I have to close the game? The last game just ended, and I knew it was close to the end of the game but had no idea that would be my last move. It would be interesting to see the layout of the board at the end of the game.

Hello Brooke,

The sound is a remind to notify it is your turn.

I will add a checkbox in settings to silence it and I will add a section to learn the sounds.

About to explore the board when the match finishes, I will study it.

Thanks for your feedback.
