Which iPhone should I get?

Hi Everyone,
I am planning to upgrade my iPhone soon as I've had an iPhone 5S for nearly four years and have finally come to the realisation that now would be a good time to get a new one. However, I am undecided which one to get; I am thinking either the iPhone SE or the iPhone 7. I don't fancy the 8 or X because they are just that little bit out of my price range and I like the ability to use touch ID and have a home button. I know the iPhone SE and iPhone 7 are very different in price but if the iPhone 7 has benefits that the iPhone SE doesn't have, I am willing to pay more for it; I just like the iPhone SE because it has the small screen and is physically almost identical to the 5S. However, would it benefit me more to get the iPhone 7? For example, I know that unlike the iPhone SE, the iPhone 7 has 3D Touch; how beneficial is 3D Touch for VoiceOver users? Also, is there a difference in camera performance between the SE and 7 for using apps like Seeing AI and KNFB Reader? Are there any other things that make the iPhone 7 more accessible than the iPhone SE vice versa? I know that the iPhone 7 doesn't have a headphone jack but I'm willing to sacrifice that if accessibility is better. I am also aware that the iPhone 7 screen is slightly bigger but I'm willing to have a slightly bigger screen if the overall performance of the phone is better. Ultimately, if the SE and 7 are equal in terms of accessibility and performance, I will get the SE but if the 7 is significantly more accessible then I will purchase that one.
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated,
Thank you,
Alice

A big piece of the iPhone experience is with iOS, which Apple updates annually. At a certain point, older phones will stop receiving iOS updates. The SE uses the chip from the 6s so updates for it will likely end one year sooner than the 7. This is why I strongly suggest that people buy the newest iPhone they can afford. In the long run, you will be able to keep your iPhone longer.

If you can wait until September get the new one that will come out.

I agree With Holger on this. Wait till the fall, then upgrade if you can. I went from the iPhone 6S plus to an iPhone 10, and I love the new phone. It's so much better than the older device. In my opinion, wait till fall, then upgrade if you can.
