Greetings.
I am using an iPhone 8 with the latest version of iOS (15.1).
Recently, when I connect my phone to my Amazon Echo via bluetooth and try to switch audio destination, nothing happens. I am trying to switch from having VoiceOver staying on my phone to having VoiceOver sound/speech over my Echo just like the rest of the sound.
Any way to fix this issue?

Voiceover destination and Echo devices
I am using an iPhone XR with iOS 15.1 and intermittently experience similar issues.
Sometimes I will connect my Alexa device to my phone and both the phone's music and Voiceover will come out of the Alexa device. Sometimes music will come out of the Alexa device and Voiceover from the phone.
When I use the rotor on the phone to select the audio destination, I can control which device Voiceover comes out of. However, as soon as I start flicking around again, Voiceover will revert to the other device.
I haven't been able to tell what controls this behavior because it is very unreproducible (but very annoying!).
Also, when I have things set up so that music comes out of the Alexa device and Voiceover from the phone, I sometimes get a very rapid and loud burst of amplitude from Voiceover that only lasts a fraction of a second. Worried about blowing my ears out.
Hope Apple can fix this because I don't think it is new to iOS 15. This has been happening for some time now.

Yeah. I have had both of…
Yeah. I have had both of these issues for some time as well and, yeah, the extremely loud VoiceOver audio issue is extremely annoying, since I turn the volume up all the way when doing bluetooth audio output to another device.
