Since iPad now has iPad OS, is the iPad good enough yet so depending on what you do with it, could you get rid of a laptop and or desktop computer whether it be windows or mac, and use an iPad as your main computing device? In other words, is the iPad good enough now that it could replace a desktop or laptop and be used as your main computer?

I think absolutely no!
I think absolutely no!
I think they are all different in my life.
Lots of love.
replace laptop with iPad pro
I should have been more specific. Could an iPad pro with physical keyboard dock replace a laptop or desktop and be used as your main computer device?
It depends
It depends on what you want to do. iPadOS 13 brings a lot of cool things to the iPad, including a download manager in Safari. What do you want to do with your iPad? If it's web browsing, talking to people using something like Skype or Zoom, accessing files on external drives, etc, it should work fine. Where you'll run into problems is if you want to do something more advanced, like play two audio sources simultaneously. The iPad Pro has certainly gotten better since its introduction, but I don't think it's a computer replacement unelss your needs are rather basic.
It certainly can
It depends on the tasks you want/need to perform. My wife gave up her Windows computer several years ago and has relied solely on her iPad Pro and iPhone. But her tasks are generally simple: email, browsing the web, watching TV and movies, online shopping, etc.
On the other hand, there's no way I'd willingly give up my Windows computer, although I do prefer using my iPhone for Facebook, Music and other apps where I want portability.
I'd not replace my windows pc.
I might be getting a laptop in the future but I couldn't imagine doing the stuff I want to do on my pc on an IPad with a keyboard, it could be done I'm sure; but I'd miss eliquence.
