Question about the fitbit.

I am getting the fitbit flex. I wanted to ask about something. I have an exercise machine that sits on the floor and you have to sit behind it and strap your feet in to the peddles. This thing is electronic but as the peddles move, you have to keep up with them. You obviously do not move anywhere. You're stuck in one spot. MY question is this. Can I strap the fitbit on my ankle while I am working out, so that the app will record how much I move? Thanks in advance for any help anyone can give me.

yes, many a times i have placed the fitbit on my leg, wrist and on a belt clip. the fitbit is able to track the steps. even if you placed it on your wrist it will probably still pick up the steps

On the website called www.etsy.com, there is a company making Fitbit holders to use to strap onto to your ankle. They have them for the Flex and Charge version and probably more options. You can get them with a small window to see the display or you can purchase it without the window. Just take your ankle measurement and then you will know which size to select. You just slip the Fitbit inside the Spandex material and then snap it to your ankle. This way, if you don't swing your arms on the treadmill or you are using a shopping cart, stroller, etc., you can still get more step count in for the day.

To see these just go to www.etsy.com and look for the company called GoFishSewingApplique.
