Hi I recieved a bluetooth speaker for Christmas. I was wondering if it is possible to make it so that voiceover comes out of my phone and the music comes out of the speaker? I don't know if something like this is possible but thought I'd ask.
I didn't know about Airplay but have seen that option in iTunes. I'll have to check that out though. This morning a tutor and I set up the blue-tooth speaker which my brother gave me for Christmas, and configured it on my Mac. I'm still figuring things out but thus far this speaker seems to work perfectly. I wanted to post though and say that if you go into the VoiceOver Utility under Sound, you can change whether VO speech comes from the Mac itself or whichever Apple device is in use at a given time, or an external device. I just changed my speech to come through the blue-tooth speaker when it is turned on, and it seems to work fine. I noticed just a tiny bit of choppiness, but I'll play around with things. VO seems to automatically detect whether my external devices are on or off, but I suppose that depends on the user and the device(s) in use.

AirPlay
If the speakers support AirPlay, this is possible.
Awwwww!
Darn it should be for headsets too.

Using iPhone
I'm using my iPhone but I am glad that that works for you on the Mac.
