Hello all,
Over a year ago I bought an iPad pro with the new Apple keyboard cover. I had a lot of problems with it not working. I now have the brand-new iPad Air with the same keyboard. Sadly it does not work 99.9% of the time. I often get a message stating accessory not supported. At random times while using the iPad without typing.
I have tried a few troubleshooting ideas found on the web. These include turning iMessage on and off, doing a hard reboot without the keyboard cover attached, doing a hard reboot with the keyboard cover attached and closing the app Iām trying to use and reopening it to see if that would work. I have also repeatedly clean the connectors on the side of the iPad and the keyboard itself. Nothing seems to make it work.
Some have suggested that this is a common problem with any keyboard linked to an iPad or other iOS device whether it be Apple or not
Can anyone please shed some light on how I can make the Apple keyboard smart cover work with either of my iPad pro and iPad Air reliably?
Thanks
Scott

If you say it's the same
If you say it's the same keyboard, maybe it's an hardware issue?
The connector bit might have broken internally in the keyboard and that makes it flicker.
I'm using an iPad pro with the smart keyboard without any issues.
