2017 MacBook Air. I got it on 24 January
So I was using it for a bit, no bashing keyboard like a maniac, nothing like that. But then, the key just. Well !?., fell off. Literally fell off the keyboard, since there is no key to protect the wise any more, would Apple need to service the entire keyboard or just put down our key back on it
Just asking I meant the wires

Sounds like you got a wonky one that only a few people had issues with. You'll be better off with the Mac then getting an iPad. Your mac is more powerful and you have an easier time installing free programs to help you without paying so much for the app store. get it replaced before school.
