Hi everyone,
Does anyone know of an accessible fitness band that can be paired with an iPhone to track activities? my budget is less than $200 and I am looking for something that can last the whole day and is of course accessible with VoiceOver. Any suggestions?
Thanks

Hi, I have Xiaomi MiBand, which works with VO and costs about 30 euro, I paid it 17 for an offer, in dollars I think it's about 30 or so. Unfortunately I have been busy these days and could not review it, but I think I'm going to write a review next week. The app is quite accessible with VO, you can read your data, it has a visual captcha at beginning of registration, as you need a xiaomi profile, but then you can use it with no trouble. You can also leave your phone at home, go to run, wearing the bracelet on your wrist, and then you go home, open bluetooth, open Mi fit app and then your data collected from the band, will be automatically synced. The app has a complicated way to set data such as birthdate, weight and goals, but I will attempt to explain; unfortunately it would be better done with an audio podcast but i do not have possibilities right now, I'll write it down and do my best.

From what i've heard, some of the fitbits are accessible, although the bands just light up i think and everything is done through the app. I don't have any experience of them though. xx

Hi
After doing a little research, I've decided to get a Fitbit charge Hr. Can anyone tell me how accessible the app and band are?
Thanks

Hi I'm not sure if you still need this but I got the fit bit HR about a week ago
I find the app very accessible except when you are trying to see things in detail A lot of these are grass and such but you are able to see the main data points
I am very very happy with it and the app though
The device itself the only time I interact with it is to press and hold the button to start a workout mode which triggers a vibration after a second The device itself the only time I interact with it is to press and hold the button to start a workout mode which triggers a vibration after a second And then to hold the button until you feel a vibration to stop the exercise There is only one button on the device so no confusion there
All around it's a great great device and as a strictly voiceover user I am pretty happy with the accessibility I actually called them today and put in a request for a bit more in-depth excess ability with the iPhone app

Hi.
I also have the charge hr. It's a great device as the previous poster has pointed out. Also, with the charge hr, have you figured out how to find the battery level in the iOS app? It doesn't show in my app however it shows up in the fitbit dashboard on the website.
Personally, fitbit is the way to go in terms of usability. I had a jawbone up24, however it was very limited in usability with Vo on the iPhone.

No I have not found where the battery is indicated in the app I'll assume that we are not able to access it with voice over Because when you go into the device in the app there is a few part where you got no voice feedback
I definitely appreciate the emails of low battery

Yeah I do as well. You can still log into your fitbit dashboard using the bluetooth dongle that came with the device and use your computers browser and look at the device settings which has the device name, battery level as high, medium, and low on it. I wish they would implement it into the app once again.

Did you end up getting the charge HR and how are you liking it if you did?
