Hi everyone. Subject line pretty much sums it up. I've been having a weird thing happen on my keyboard, and I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this one before. Sometimes when I'm typing my keys will make a sound as if they're cracking. It's not a huge deal since they all work great, but I'm just wondering if I should report this or have somebody with working eyeballs look at it? The issue just happens randomly with keys, and I don't think I'd be able to reproduce it if I had to. I guess it's more of an annoyance than anything else. This is a built-in keyboard on a mid-2013 MacBook Air.

re: cracking sound
Sometimes stuff gets in to it and that's what you hear. The crunching, if you will, of the what ever it is.
Yup. I've had this happen on
Yup. I've had this happen on both of my mac machines, mid 2010 and mid 2012 MBP's. It's exactly as Marrie pointed out, stuff gets in them, and that is the crunching sound ya hear. HTH!
