I just bought these speakers, and the sound is great. However, I cannot figure out how to create stereo.
There seems to be two modes: party boost, and independant.
If they are in party boost, then when you go to the app and click "create stereo", the create button is disabled. In this mode both speakers are on, but seems to be mono.
When you turn party boost mode off on both speakers and go to the app, then click "create stereo", the create button is enabled. However, when you click it, it pauses a few seconds, then says "sorry, can't create stereo, try again". Seems it's waiting for confirmation from you or something, but I have no idea how to confirm / which buttons to press, etc.
DOes anyone have these things and if so, have you gotten this working?
Any info greatly appreciated.

I did it, but not exactly sure how
I followed instructions at this link:
https://support.jbl.com/fi/fi/howto/setting-up-your-partyboost-speakers-in-stereo-mode-emea/000017052.html
However, not exactly ...
1. needed to totally power down one speaker and kill the app as per the instructions;
2. got the remaining speaker playing
3. enabled the app
4. clicked stereo group
5. powered on the second speaker and made sure it was seen (it will list jbl flip 6 twice)
6. click party boost on one of them, then click create
At least that's what I think I did. I have no idea if the speakers will remain grouped tomorrow when I power them on again...
Stay tuned...
Update
1. you need to app to be running in order to switch into stereo mode. If anyone knows how to do this without the app, please add a comment.
2. as per the instructions, you power both speakers on, run the app, hit connect on one of the "jbl flip 6" buttons on the initial screen. once connected, then click the "party boost" button on each speaker.
3. Click "stereo group" from the screen that appears once you click "connect" on one of the "jbl flip 6" buttons.
4. if you've already set up your stereo group before, the app will remember that. You can know this because the "create" button is replaced by a button that says "exit from the group" or some such. Click "stereo switch". stereo mode should now be enabled.
if you've not entered stereo mode before, you need to click "create".
This process is a pain in the butt. The hardware is great, but the software is horrid!
