iphone 6 or 7

The big question is do you care about the headphone jack? If no then go for 7 if yes go for the 6. Also the 7 doesn't have a home button it's more of a surpressed screen thing. No one has had trouble with it from what i heard.

I would definitely go for a 7. I switched over from a 6 nearly 2 months ago and haven't regretted it. Everything about this phone is amazing. I don't know which country you are from, but here in Australia, ear buds which exclusively plug into the lightning port shipped with my phone, along with an adaptor which allows you to use older headphones. I don't use headphones whilst charging my phone so this isn't an issue for me, but of course, your decision boils down to personal choice.

Don't forget the SE. If you like a smaller phone, the SE will serve you well. Plus, you can reuse the case you have on your 5 if you have one. No matter which iPhone you get though, you will notice a huge difference in speed coming from an iPhone 5.

Since it is Apple's tenth anniversary this year, the reports of the iPhone 8's pending release later this year look really good. Why purchase hardware that will soon be out of date this Fall. If it is possible, I recommend waiting until iPhone 8 is released. You will then have the benefits of the current iPhone 7 plus any new improvements of the 8. Just something to think about.

I second the previous commenter. I'm waiting until september to see what they'll release for the new iPhones. They look pretty cool. If you can, wait till fall of this year.

I wouldn't call the 7 out of date when the 7s/8 comes out. Since Apple releases new iPhones every year, you could always be waiting for the next one. I would wait if it were near the end of the summer, but if the current iPhones will do what you need, then go for it!

Hi. I have a six S plus, I love the bigger screen, but I think on the six only, there's no 3D touch. Someone double check that, but 3D helps wheni have messages, email, twitter, fb etc. It's handy and you can feelt he haptic feedback when you press the screen. Of course if you get a new case, such as the Otterbox for yoru phone, youw on't feel it as well, thenholding it in your hand. Just another thing to think about. Also remember the seven will be more expensive then the six, and same goes true for the eight. I scrwed that up. what i meant to say, was the eight will be expensive the seven may be a bit cheaper if cost is an issue. I need more coffee I think. ;)

The 6 doesn't support 3D touch. This was enabled when I first obtained my 7 and because I wasn't used to this feature, I found it difficult to accomplish the setup process so I turned the feature off.

I moved from a 6 to a 7 plus. Faster processor, much higher storage capacity at 256 gigs, (although you don't need to go that high) better sound through the stereo speakers, a much better camera for apps such as KNFB Reader and Be My Eyes, and longer battery life. The only difference between the home button that you currently have and the ones on sevens is that it doesn't physically flex when pressed. It is tactually the same.

The 6s, SE and 7 supports band 12 frequencies at the lower end of the wireless spectrum. These new frequencies can deliver a signal inside buildings and at a much further distance away from the cell tower. There are many places where you would experience cell phone service with a band 12 phone and have no or very poor service with a 6 or earlier. Also realize that Apple stops providing iOS updates to phones after about five years so newer phones are worth the money because you won’t be stuck with a phone that cannot be updated in a year or two.
