The iPhone 15 lineup will feature significantly larger batteries across the board, according to an alleged Foxconn worker speaking toÂ

The information claims that the iPhone 15 will feature an 18% larger battery, iPhone 15 Plus and iPhone 15 Pro a 14% larger battery, and the iPhone 15
Pro Max a 12% larger battery. The exact capacity changes are said to be as follows:

ITHome also highlighted separate information purportedly coming out of Foxconn that isÂ
circulating on Weibo
saying that the iPhone 15 Pro will begin with 256GB of storage as standard, doubling the current 128GB base storage configuration. This would also be
a key differentiator between the Pro and non-Pro models, since the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus are still expected to start with 128GB of storage.

Thick as a Brick
As the Jethro Tull song claims (band, not agriculturist). I'm one of those weirdos who would like the iPhones to be thicker. At least thick enough to make the camera on the back flush. The other day, I took mine out of the OtterBox case, and it felt uncomfortable to hold, like if it would snap in half. And when I set a device down on a table, I want it to set flat.
They will probably make that camera still stick out though...
I mean
If the 15 can last as long as a galaxy phone then when I’m next able to upgrade I might have a look at it but
Until I hear the iPhone can match the same runtime as an android phone
Nothing beats the old nokia phones.
I know they didn't have the fancy smancy apps we do today but they used to last a week on one charge, granted I didn't use my phone that much but the design was great. You could drop it and the battery would come out, no problem! Just pop it back in and you're good to go.

The article was updated to say take it with a grain of salt. So if the battery isn't that much better then the iPhone 14 pro and pro maxes I'll probably get a 14 pro max to save a few bucks.

Well, back to carrying around the power bank and a fistful of adapters and cables. One thing that seems to be new is that the iPhone batteries will only charge to about eighty percent when the temperature is high. I keep finding a notification on the lock screen. I live in the desert so 95F (35C) really doesn't seem that hot.

Yes. If it's up around 95F in the area where I'm charging my phone, the phone stops charging as it heats up and isn't cooled by the ambient air. temperature. 95F is a tolerable temperature to me, and about where the phone has issues. I'm sure it would change the cooling situation if I took the phone out of the case, but I don't like going through all that.
I've also read some confusing recommendations that a battery should almost never be charged beyond eighty percent, or drop below twenty percent. Ug. Just charge it to eighty percent and tell me it's fully charged, and stop selling me batteries that can't handle the real world.
