iPhone 12 Mini; my thoughts without owning one

I have the SE 2020; upgraded from SE First Edition 2016

If I would have waited another month I would have probably bought the 12 Mini; and here is why:

1. Form factor:
By which I mean size is the main deciding criteria. The 12 Mini size is between the 5S and SE 2020, so I have been told but not experienced. Which I feel is just what I would be comfortable with. I have become comfortable with the SE 2020 since I have set it to be used by my right hand. Somewhere, there is a setting to choose for right hand typing which makes the keyboard shift slightly to the right so that you can reach the other side of the keyboard with one hand easily.

2. Processor:
The fastest and most latest; always welcome that change

Having said that, here is what I would have wished the 12 Mini to have:

1. Embossed Tactile apple logo; which could also serve as a finger print sensor
2. Better battery technology; since everyone has been talking about it being average
3. Biometric face ID; by which I mean not just Face Recognition, but scan the eyes to unlock. I know this might be a bit of a challenge for those with prosthetic eye implants. But with option 1 handy, you have more than 1 way but 3 ways to unlock your phone; Biometric Face ID, Finger Print and Passcode

Well those are my thoughts about the 12 Mini, would love to hear your thoughts and comments on mine in the comments. Thank you for reading!

Hi! I also have the iPhone SE 2020: I bought that last April, to replace my iPhone 6 which had a dying battery. But if I hadn't had to upgrade so urgently last spring, and if the SE 2020 hadn't existed, I might have waited for an iPhone 12 Mini myself. I wondr how long the iPhone 12 Mini will continue to be available, though: I gather it hasn't sold very well. since it was released. I guess most iPhone buyers want bigger screens. But at least those of us who prefer smaller iPhones currently have a choice of two small models, even if we can't predict how long that will be the case. I just hope there is still a smaller iPhone model around when I do my next upgrade in a few years time!
