Just about to buy an IPad Air 2 for my son with the largest memory. Any reviews welcomed please.

My sons totally blind & is used to Apple products as he has an IPhone 6 plus.

Presuming this will be just as accessible as his phone?

Any reviews, information and tips greatly appreciated

Thanks

Every Apple product from iphones to macs is accessible! It'll have voiceover on it just like your son's iphone. I'd take your son to the Apple store & let him play with it because they'll let you do that. If he doesn't know about this site, please tell him about it because he'll find apps & other resources.

Hello.
There are some differences between the iPhone and iPad, but most of the experience is the same. Apple has made some things slightly different on the iPad to take advantage of the much larger screen size and to help with multi-taksing. But it all works just as well with VoiceOver, and if he knows how to use the iPhone, the learning curve will be slight at most.

I am the lucky receiver of the IPad from my very... busy mummy. Thanks.
Thanks for the previous responses. I am very accustomed to using the iPhone and apple devices, I should add that I like it a lot of course. The only question I have is if anyone has an IPad air 2 and an IPhone 6 plus what are they like compared. By this I mean are they relatively the same in terms of their speed and functionality. I know that the IPad air 2 has all the same inbuilt features as the IPhone 6 plus as well. I only ask this because I haven't had chance to actually have a go on one yet, just feel it. The bigger screen might be something I need to get used to but because I went from an iPhone 5 to an IPhone 6 plus with a bigger screen I know how to adjust to different sizes.
