I don’t know what’s wrong with my charger and iPad battery, so now it’s asking me to unlock the iPad to use the usb device before I can charge up. It won’t let me charge up in any outlet but my mom’s in her room. I’m using the original lightning cable and brick charger. I have a iPad 6gin 2018 model with the latest version of iOS 15. Is it my iPad battery? The charger or something else? It started acting up a day’s ago. Is there anyway that I can fix this possible bug in settings? I don’t use any usb devices or my new NLS Braille eReader display.
Please help, I would like to be able to use it too.

maybe some dumb ideas, but worth a try
I don't know if this issue is with your power or your device. But whatever the case may be, you might want to look in to buying a new charging cable and charging block. I know they can be a bit on the pricy side, but its possible either your charging block or cable has a short in it that could start a fire. Also, have you tried resetting the IPad? I'm not talking about a complete rest, I'm talking about the one where you just do a soft reset. For the life of me, I can't even remember how to do that right now.
USB C accessories
Go to face ID and slide until you see USB accessories. Make sure is on.
invest in Anker brick and…
invest in Anker brick and cable
My iPad Pro had the same issue and it was the brick
I got a nano Anker charger with cable
the cable is durable to stand weights up to forty pounds
Apple Store
Before you spend a nickel on any new cables or AC adaptors, make an appointment at an Apple store. I went in and the genius removed a massive ball of lint from the lightning port of my iPhone. All charging issues immediately ceased.
