Fitbit accessibility with ios

Hi, I am thinking about getting a Fitbit for my birthday. I would like to know, is the Fitbit accessible with iOS devices. I have an iPad Pro which I got for Christmas. Is there a way I can see my results and activity using the Fitbit on my iPad? I do not have the health app on this device, so another thing I am wondering. Is there a Fitbit app that I can get to pair It with my iPad? My mom and my doctors have been nagging me to lose weight. My mom and the rest of my family cannot afford an Apple Watch so I thought that a Fitbit would be a better idea .

I thought about just answering your questions, but then I thought, I'll search the site, and I'm glad I did. The reviewer here said about all of what I could.

Due to the difficulty of logging new foods, I would recommend pairing fitbit with myfitnesspal. It isn't perfect in terms of accessibility either, but at least you can log foods pretty easily, and you can even see your fitbit stats on the fitnesspal dashboard and vice versa if you choose fibit as your step counter.

Good luck!

Hi,
I just left some thoughts over at Fitbit‘s IOS Directory page, if you want to check these out.
Over here, I wanted to add that to my knowledge, Fitbit products are amongs those Fitness Trackers which won‘t easily synchronize with Apple‘s Health App. I think this exclusion has a legal background, but I‘m not certain of this.
You still can make your Fitbit products send their data over to the Health App, but it does require some fiddling with Third Party Services.
If you do want products that do work with Apple‘s Health App, you may want to check out the Withings line of products. The accessibility of their IOS app has been miserable at times, amazingly awesome at others, and is currently somewhere in between. And yes, Withings products do synchronize with the Health App just fine.

I can't use the health app anyway because it is not on my iPad Pro. I don't think I can download it either. So it's a good idea to have the Fitbit app or one of the other fitness apps that work with it

Does anyone use the lintelek fitness tracker? Is it accessible with voice over?

Hi Exodia
First, sorry to hear about your family's pushing.
Don't worry about an apple watch anyways, it will only work the the phone, not iPad or iPod. Same goes for the Health App as you've already discovered. The fitbit app is fairly accessible but it is a little difficult to use IMHO. If you are looking for an inexpensive fitness tracker, I suggest looking for one that works with Google Fit. That app runs on iPad and is very accessible, and, if you ever do get an iPhone, you will be able to bring your data over to the Health App.

Thank you for the idea. Just so you know, they're not pushing me, they just want to see me healthier. But getting back to the discussion of the Fitbit or other fitness tracker, my mom wanted to get the Lintelek but I said that it might be better to go with a regular Fitbit because they have more apps that are accessible.
