Hi all. Since I use my Airpods second generation mostly on my Mac, I'm having a problem. It's intermitent, but let me try to explain. Sometimes, after I wake the computer, i will hear absolutely no sound except voice over's clicks when navigating through a web page or in my inbox. At other times, as in a few minutes ago, only one Airpod played while the other one though in my ear did nothing. This doesn't happen all the time, and as I said, though connected to my phone I haven't seen this happen yet. So is it worth going to Geeksquad or some such and maybe replacing them? If anyone has had experiences like this, please comment. By the way, the no sound behavior is also randomly doing this even after the computer has been active for some time. It will just, stop speaking. Then if I turn off Voiceover and back on, it seems to not do it again. it literally just did this behavior right before i am hitting Post.

Hello, The coming out of one ear and not the other is a connection issue I've had with my Airpods as well. Something that unfortunately has sometimes. As for your other issues, do you have any other devices to test your Airpods with? I ask because I had these issues with my Mac but not my iPhone or Apple watch. The issue of VoiceOver quitting speech and needing to be turned off and on again is an issue I and others have had even when just using the Mac internal speakers. A very annoying VoiceOver bug. HTH, JesseHello,

This also seems to occur in iOS 13.2.2. It’s not your AirPods. It’s a OS software issue

Jessie, I just don't think to test then with my phone, probably because they are expensive, the case is small, I didn't want to leave it somewhere. I should though, you are right. As for the voice over bug, i thought it was that. I don't usually encounter that unless i have the Airpods in my ears though. Wonder if anyone with the more expensive pro versions have this? Probably, which is why I didn't really want to go and replace these. I'll just swear, fix it, swear fix it again, see a pattern? :)
