Hi all. I'm considering an apple watch finally. The only difference I see is the SE doesn't have blood oxygen or something like that. besides that, I'd go cellular because I honestly don't see the point of having a watch on wifi. I don't have a fabulous connection at my home, thanks to the rich morons who don't want an "eyesore" tower but are fine being snobbish bastards. As for watch apps, I don't stream much although I have an unlimitted data plan so that might help. I know the next series is coming, so I don't know if I should see if anything really gets my interest. As far as i know, it won't change all that much. And we'll never have alex on there, so I guess I'd have to do the female Siri voice as I HATE Samantha. Help me decide. Oh, i use Uber and Lyft, didn't Uber take their app off for some reason? Thx

Siri 7
I got ehe 7, I like it and charge it every morning. Works well for sleeping tracking, and the oxygen app works nicely when you are sleeping. Weather gods work well on it and typing on the keyboard is good for messages. The apps that you mention, not sure since I do not use them. Question is going to be the 41 mm or 45 mm. Amazon might have a nice deal when they do their June sell.
SE
The SE has no O2 sensor, no EKG, slightly slower charging, slower processor, and no always-on display. It also only supports 2.4GHz WiFi. I believe the series 7 also has slightly larger screens compared to the SE and supports their new fancy keyboard on the bigger series 7 that they stole from flictype. Normally, the watch is connected to your phone via bluetooth. It relies on WiFi (or cellular if you purchase the cellular model and purchase a plan with your carrier) only if it's out of range of your phone. This means that if your phone has no signal, your watch will also very likely have no signal. The cellular model will allow you to stay connected when out of range of your phone or your home wireless network. That said, if you want a case which is nicer than the standard aluminium, you'll have to get the series 7. That fancy steel case comes with sapphire glass, but YouTubers like JerryRigEverything have shown the sapphire content in the glass is very, very low. Oh, one difference you likely will never, ever notice is that the series 7 has no connectors at all. You won't notice this because the port hidden in the watchband slot on the SE is designed to be used only by Apple for diagnostics and repair. The series 7 has a wireless data-transfer coil embedded into the bottom for them to use instead. Fun fact: some people have used the port on the SE to get faster charging, but it's not intended for consumer use.
Personally, I find very little use in the features the more expensive watches bring to the table, and the blood-oxygen sensor isn't the most accurate anyway, but it's up to personal needs and taste. More important are the size differences. Get the larger size, if you can. Keep in mind that the watch is not a smartphone replacement, merely a smartphone companion. You won't be watching youtube or browsing the internet on this thing because of how miniscule the screen realestate and battery are. It's intended for getting quick bits of data at a glance like GPS directions, music controls, workouts, 1 or 2 bits of health data at a time, etc. As for differences in performance, the watch's abilities are limited enough that I don't mind waiting a few more seconds for an app to open, though I do wish Siri would crap out less often.
I know it's not a phone replacement
Hi. Thanks for those who answered. Honestly, I was going with cellular anyway. The faster charging i'm good with. I guess Uber and Lyft aren't availabile but that's ok. I'll see what is up with the eight although as I said, probably nothing much new. I'll keep an eye on it. I appreciate all the answers. Now if only I could get a separate Florida number for the watch. I'll keep this posted.
