Hi,
I recently played around with adding an audiogram to health and using that to optimize the sound of my AirPods.
I know that other headphones have that feature too. They are saving the EQ-curve on the headphones themself.
As far as I know AirPods rely on the iPhone or iPad to store the audiogram. So I am wondering if that transfers to the Mac. It seems like the AppleTV does not respect that.
So for me it seems like I would have a better time with third party headphones which incooperate this feature to use them across all plattforms. One thing that is keeping me from switching though is that I watch movies with my partner with two sets of AirPods Max connected to the Apple TV. We also listen to audiobooks with two sets of AirPods on one Phone when on the go. If Apple where to open up that audio sharing funktionality to other headphones I'd gladly switch. And maybe that is the reason they will not do that. Kind of sad about that, since there is no leggit reason only AirPods and Beats headphones can connect to the same device.
