Airfly β How to connect Airpods to 3.5 mm jack on NLS Book Reader
I am writing to tell you about a product that I discovered that allows you to use a wireless Apple Airpods with your NLS Book Reader, or any other device that outputs audio via analog 3.5 mm headphone jack.
It is called Airfly. It connects to the 3.5 mm analog audio jack of the book reader, and streems audio from the book reader to Airpods via Blutetooth.
Here is the Airfly Amazon link:

I have used this device for over a year now and it is excellent.
I have found this very useful to continue to use my NLS Book reader with headphones.
You need to pair it to your Airpods using the provided instructions.
Once pared, it operates flawlessly after one year of use.

Mine's a different brand, but I love it!
For a variety of reasons, primarily financial, I have no interest in getting the 3rd generation Victor Reader Stream. As soon as I got airpods, though, I began trying to find a device like the one you've shared. The one I got was an Avante Relay, but it was super easy to pair with my airpods, and works beautifully with my 2nd gen vr stream. It's got quirks from time to time, but I suspect that's true of any blue-tooth-related device. Anway, thanks for sharing this type of device. I think it would be a great investment for any airpods users out here.
So Useful
This is a must if you need to interact with things like ATMs and your pockets are only filled with AirPods and Lightning EarPods.
Airfly Update January 14, 2024
I had not thought about interacting with ATMβs, but there are a lot of devices like most computers and laptops that still have a 3.5 mm audio jack.
The Airfly I have has not had any unpairing issues. If you like a different such device, let me know.
