I'm sure this topic has been discussed before, so please forgive me. I'm looking for an accessible streaming device, but I'm not sure which way to go. I currently have a Roku HD, but the Roku IOS app isn't as accessible as I think it should be, so I'm looking for an alternative. I know about Apple TV's accessibility, but I just can't afford it right now, and I'm looking for something short term to use until I can. Sorry for the lengthy post, but would the Amazon TV Fire stick, or the Google Chromecast work with voiceover? Thanks!

Apple TV
For accessibility the Apple TV is your best bet out of all of them.
Better to save
Hi. Better to save up and get an Apple TV that will work as opposed to spending less and getting a worse experience. Don't put any money into something you won't be satisfied with.
Apple TV 3rd Gen?
The Apple TV third-generation seems to be reasonably priced… Should I go with that model, or should I go with the latest model?
I wouldn't
I'd not go with the third gen. You can't add your own streaming services, and it's unlikely to get any further serious updates.
If it's in the budget...
Hello,
If it's in the budget, go for the ATV 4th Gen.
But if you're trying to compare between Chrome cast, Fire Stick or a 3rd Gen ATV, it's a no brainer if you have an IOS or OSX device. With the chrome cast or Fire Stick, you will need to install an app and have your IOS device handy to use them. With the ATV, you do not need to install any apps to stream using Airplay. And if you don't have your IOS device, you can still watch TV.
If you don't mind getting a used ATV, you can find them on eBay for less than a new Chrome cast. As much as I like Apple, I still can't find a good reason to get rid of my ATV 3rd Gen for a 4th Gen.
HTH and good luck.
Budget
I'd just wait until an ATV 4th gen is in the budget, personally.
That helps a lot!
I've been on eBay, and I stumbled across an ATV 4th Gen. for $82.99, but it comes with the power cable and nothing else. I don't have a problem with that... I just want to make sure I'm not getting a defected product. I'm not sure about the number of apps that come with the ATV 3rd Gen. and I don't like to be limited, so I may go with the 4th Gen. if the seller is legit. Thank you all for your help!
