Hi, I love Ear Pods sound quality, but when I want to use the microphone for example to use Skype it also records sound that I am listening. Can anyone help me to solve it? Thanks.

The reason that happens is because the mic is directly in line with the left earpod--in other words, it's on the same cable. the best thing you can do is to turn off speech when recording. aside from that I don't think there's much you can do to solve that issue.
Joseph, a friendly correction: don't you mean the microphone is on the cable for the righ channel? The EarPods that came with my iPhone 5 are labeled as such. Craig

The mic is on the right cable. Personally, I don't know that I would recommend these earbuds for anybody, as about two months after I purchased a set, the right earbud quit working. The mic still works, but I get no sound out of it.

i was also disappointed at the apple earphones/earpods life span, i always ended up tearing them up in like a few months. taking them in and out of my pocket for school and stuff. they weren't cheep. i forget how much they are off the top of my head, but there to much for a poor college student to be going out and buying a new set every two months or so. as far as recording goes, those earphones also bleed sound a lot, so your mike is probably picking up sounds from the ear buds themselves. unless what ever you are using to record is recording from your sound card. that is a whole different issue in and of itself

I'm having good luck with mine. I've owned only 1 pair for about 9 or so months, going on 10 and they still sound as good as ever and still work. They also go in and out of my pocket and in in and out of my bag. But then again, I'm careful with mine and I know some tricks of the trade so they almost never get caught in knots. but Yeah the mic is on the right ear piece right below the head phone part, so it will pick up voice over. A small annoyence but it works.
