hi all, here in the uk i am getting an iphone 7, or hope to be at least, sim free. at the moment i have been using a 16 gb iphone 6 and now 5 for this moment time, as my 6 died its death. now, i have lived with the 11,2 or so gb afforded to me, from the 16 gb device. i stream a lot of music, have a photo library of about 500 mb or so, and a few videos so would a 32 gb iphone, giving me around 28,2 or 28,3 gb suffice, or would people opt for the middle of the road, and go for a 128 gb device?for my sero and other media content, i have an ipad ni 64 gb which suits me fine for my audio-related media and podcast requirements.thanks for all helpWill

It's up to you. I'd always go for more because the more room you have the better. I wouldn't go for 200 or so as that's a bit much. I have a 64 gig iPhone right now and it works well enough. I'd go more than 32 because you never know when you will get more music, videos, apps, etc. Just my thoughts.

I always advise going with the middle of the road if you can afford it. You'll never regret having too much memory, but if you don't have enough at some point, it would mean a phone upgrade to get more.

That said, you really need to evaluate what you'll be using your phone for. If you think you might want to use it for podcasts or for audiobooks, you may use up your memory fairly quickly. Just something to consider.

Hello, I would get a bigger model as well. For the same reasons as they were mentioned above. Anyway, good luck with your decision.

You also have to keep in mind that apps are getting heavier and, therefore, the files are bigger.
As someone has already mentioned, if you're planning to Store podcasts, audio books, games, apps, Etc., it will be better to have more room than less room.
In the long run, having more space will also mean that you won't need to upgrade to a new device for some time.
Cheers.

Remember, the 128 gig iPhone is going to cost a lot more than the 32 gig version, and stuff can always be deleted, and re-downloaded if necessary. Of course, if you have the necessary funds I would never hesitate going with the 128 gig model, but if price is a factor, 32 gigs is just fine. 16 gigs these days just is not workable, given how apps file sizes are bigger like others have mentioned. It has to be what you can afford, though, and what you want to use it for.

I just went from the iPhone 6 16 gb to the 7 128 gb in November. I have never looked back! Yes, I paid more than I would have for 32, but I like to do a lot on my phone and I thoroughly enjoy not having to be constantly monitoring my memory!

As for myself, since my phone is a one stop shop, I purchase the largest memory available. This allows me to avoid having to purchase a new phone for a very long time and I can push hard on the memory and not feel it. The books from BARD and Audible, along with personal music, and mp3 TV shows and movies from Blind Mice take up the largest share of my memory. Admitedly, I am a memory hog user, but, I truly want as much with me at all times. This is why I purchase the largest memory available. As others have said, apps are requiring more space all the time, as well. Of course, pricing is always an issue, but it's worth the investment for me and that's actually why I purchase the largest amount so that I avoid having to do so any time soon, in the future.

Happy choosing.

If you can afford it, go for the largest memory: it's well worth it. I have the 256 GB iPhone 7 and love it.
