Using Kindle app with a Braille display

Hi all,

I'm just wondering how you go about reading Kindle books using a braille display.

I much prefer the experience on PC - for example, I can go to any random sentence and it'll show on the display. This doesn't seem to be the case on the iOS app. I'm still learning braille (nearly finished Grade 2) and if there's a symbol I don't recognise, I would like to go back and read that line on my phone but can't necessarily go back to it on the display.

Are there any tips and tricks to reading Kindle books using a braille display on iOS? I've got a Brilliant BI40X display if that means anything.

Thanks

I use my Brailliant 20-cell display with kindle quite often. The only problem I have is that when you open the kindle book, it puts your cursor at the top of the page. So if you were further down on the page, you have to read a part that you have already read and then finally come to the place where you want to start. Otherwise, I think it works very well.

I've just started using Kindle app as well. You could try pressing space with f and then typing a word you're looking for, but that doesn't always work. Otherwise you just have to pan backwards until you find your spot.
I actually have a question about Kindle as well. I've learned the hard way that the spacebar flips to the next page, but does anyone know how to go to the previous page? It seems like it would be backspace, but that doesn't work.
