Braille on Apple Products

Hi all,
I have a problem which I hope someone can help me with.
I recently purchased an Apple TV and was told from other forums that like other Apple products it could be used with the Orbit via Bluetooth.
However upon trying to connect it took ages to locate the Braille section within Vo settings once paired the Orbit would only stay paired for around 2seconds
and then lose the connection which I don't understand as I am right near the TV.
Furthermore I cannot control the apple TV via the Orbit keyboard when I try space with h it doesn't take me back home for instance.
Finally when I either turn off my Orbit Reader 20 or the TV the display doesn't reconnect automatically I have to go back into settings and manually connect
it again but it does state within the  Braille settings under Braille displays section that it is already connected but all I get when I restartthe Orbit
or bi14 is a   blank display although when I press space VO does say space.
I rang Apple but the accessibility team could only advise to speak with Orbit/humanware but as we all know the display is controlled via the screen reader.
So has anyone used a Braille display with Apple TV and did you have any of these issues? Any experiences good or bad as well as a solution to solve this
would be great as I am brand new to Apple TV and would feel a lot more confident using the Orbit.
Acording to my Apple tv the latest version for 4th gen is IOS 14.4 could this be the problem? if so how do I update
