Tips on Improving Braille Experience on iPadOS and iOS?

Braille on Apple Products

How to interpret Apple’s attempt to inject not so wonderful features into VoiceOver while very serious bugs have not been resolved and do not seem to be soon. How about if we discuss a deal with Apple to give up new features for the next three milestone releases and Apple in return fixes long standing bugs?
Braille on iPadOS and iOS is a nightmare. The longer the text gets the slower text input and navigation using Braille display. VoiceOver often crashes and I lose my position in the document when VO comes back to life after the crash. This is on the latest iPadOS and iOS using iPad Pro and iPhone 12. So these are top of the line devices that Apple boasts them as being comparable to high performance laptops and PC’s.
Any tips how to improve braille experience in iOS and iPadOS?
Thanks

I wholeheartedly agree, I vote for stability over new features any day. In iOS I can't even get the cursor routing buttons to put me where I want to be on my Focus 40, so I despise having to edit documents with it on my iPhone.

Sorry, no solutions. Just combing the forum to see how to solve the jumpy cursor problem while editing large text documents. Clicked on this thread and have to wholeheartedly agree, too. There aren't very many blind people who have the money to drop on a new iPhone every time one comes out. Add to that the cost of a Braille display if you need the reinforcement and ease of seeing the text you're working with that Braille provides, and pfft, forget it. I'm not dropping that kind of money toward a company that only talks big about accessibility but provides it in a half-baked way. The inability to use Braille fully with the Apple products is akin to taking the ability to magnify text or change the screen contrast with text away from a sighted user.

Thank you for saying what I've long thought for years!!!
